| 2 | In Situ Coupling Strategy for Anchoring Monodisperse Co_9S_8 Nanoparticles on S and N Dual?Doped Graphene as a Bifunctional Electrocatalyst for Rechargeable Zn–Air Battery显示文摘An in situ coupling strategy to prepare Co_9S_8/S and N dual?doped graphene composite(Co_9S_8/NSG) has been proposed. The key point of this strategy is the function?oriented design of organic compounds. Herein, cobalt porphyrin derivatives with sulfo groups are employed as not only the coupling agents to form and anchor Co_9S_8 on the graphene in situ, but also the heteroatom?doped agent to generate S and N dual?doped graphene. The tight coupling of multiple active sites endows the composite materials with fast electrochemical kinetics and excellent stability for both oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER). The obtained electrocatalyst exhibits better activity parameter(ΔE = 0.82 V) and smaller Tafel slope(47.7 mV dec^(-1) for ORR and 69.2 mV dec^(-1) for OER) than commercially available Pt/C and RuO_2. Most importantly, as electrocatalyst for rechargeable Zn–air battery, Co_9S_8/NSG displays low charge–discharge voltage gap and outstanding long?term cycle stability over 138 h compared to Pt/C–RuO_2. To further broaden its application scope, a homemade all?solid?state Zn–air battery is also prepared, which displays good charge–discharge performance and cycle performance. | 3 | Characterization of the aerosol chemical composition during the COVID-19 lockdown period in Suzhou in the Yangtze River Delta,China显示文摘To control the spread of COVID-19,rigorous restrictions have been implemented in China,resulting in a great reduction in pollutant emissions.In this study,we evaluated the air quality in the Yangtze River Delta during the COVID-19 lockdown period using satellite and ground-based data,including particle matter(PM),trace gases,water-soluble ions(WSIs) and black carbon(BC).We found that the impacts of lockdown policy on air quality cannot be accurately assessed using MODIS aerosol optical depth(AOD) data,whereas the tropospheric nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2)) vertical column density can well reflect the influences of these restrictions on human activities.Compared to the pre-COVID period,the PM_(2.5),PM_(10),NO_(2),carbon monoxide(CO),BC and WSIs during the lockdown in Suzhou were observed to decrease by 37.2%,38.3%,64.5%,26.1%,53.3% and 58.6%,respectively,while the sulfur dioxide(SO_(2)) and ozone(O_(3)) increased by 1.5% and 104.7%.The WSIs ranked in the order of NO_(3)~->NH_(4)^(+)>SO_(4)^(2-)>Cl~->Ca^(2+)>K^(+)>Mg^(2+)>Na + during the lockdown period.By comparisons with the ion concentrations during the pre-COVID period,we found that the ions NO 3-,NH 4 +,SO_(4)^(2-),Cl~-,Ca^(2+),K^(+) and Na^(+) decreased by 66.3%,48.8%,52.9%,56.9%,57.9% and 76.3%,respectively,during the lockdown,in contrast to Mg^(2+),which increased by 30.2%.The lockdown policy was found to have great impacts on the diurnal variations of Cl~-,SO_(4)^(2-),Na^(+) and Ca^(2+). | Honglei Wang Qing Miao Lijuan Shen Qian Yang Yezheng Wu Heng Wei Yan Yin Tianliang Zhao Bin Zhu Wen Lu | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 8 |

| 5 | IGHG1 promotes motility likely through epithelial-mesenchymal transition in ovarian cancer显示文摘Objective: Ovarian cancer(OC) is one of the leading causes of death for female cancer patients. COC166-9 is an OC-specific monoclonal antibody and we have identified immunoglobulin γ-1 heavy chain constant region(IGHG1) as its antigen. We explore the function of IGHG1 in proliferation, apoptosis and motility of OC cells further in this research.Methods: IGHG1 expression in OC specimens was detected through immunohistochemistry. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-q PCR) or western blotting assay was used to test IGHG1 expression in OC cells. Viability of OC cells was tested by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay. Flow cytometry or western blotting assay was used to detect cell cycle and apoptosis. Cellular motility was analyzed by using transwell assay and the markers of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) were tested through immunoblots.Results: Although it exerts negligible effect on the viability and apoptosis of OC cells, IGHG1 could promote migration and invasion of malignant cells in vitro. Mechanistically, IGHG1 increases the expression of N-cadherin and Vimentin while decreases E-cadherin expression. Additionally, IGHG1 expression in OC specimens is higher relative to the paired normal counterparts. Further analysis demonstrates that the increased IGHG1 expression correlates positively with the lymph node metastasis of OC.Conclusions: IGHG1 promotes the motility of OC cells likely through executing the EMT program. | 6 | A Numerical Study of the Aerodynamic Characteristics of a High-Speed Train under the Effect of Crosswind and Rain显示文摘The performances of high-speed trains in the presence of coupling effects with crosswind and rain have attracted great attention in recent years.The objective of the present paper was to investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of a high-speed train under such conditions in the framework of an Eulerian-Lagrangian approach.An aerodynamic model of a high-speed train was first set up,and the side force coefficient obtained from numerical simulation was compared with that provided by wind tunnel experiments to verify the accuracy of the approach.Then,the effects of the yaw angle,the resultant wind speed,and the rainfall rate on aerodynamic coefficients were analyzed.The results indicate that the aerodynamic coefficients grow almost linearly with the rainfall rate,and increase with a decrease in the resultant wind speed.Due to the impact of raindrops on the train surface and the airflow,the pressure coefficients of windward and leeward side of the train become larger with the increase of the rainfall rate.Raindrops can accelerate the airflow and suppress the vortices detachment.Moreover,the flow velocity in regions surrounding the train increases with an increase in the rainfall rate. | Haiqing Li Mengge Yu Qian Zhang Heng Wen | 2020 | Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2020,16,1: | 6 |
| 7 | Solute-homogenization model and its experimental verification in Mg-Gd-based alloys显示文摘Composition homogenization in solid solution is important for industrial alloys. In the present work, a solute homogenization model is proposed based on the chemical short-range-order tendency in Mg-Gdbased alloys. After a calculation using the cluster-plus-glue-atom model, the stable Mg-Gd structural unit is derived, [Gd-Mg12]Mg6, where one solute Gd is nearest-neighbored with twelve Mg atoms to form the characteristic hcp cluster [Gd-Mg12] and this cluster is matched with six Mg glue atoms. Such a local unit is then mixed with [Mg-Mg12]Mg3, the stable unit for pure Mg. Assuming that the Gd-containing units are arranged in fcc-or bcc-like lattice points and the Mg units in their octahedral interstices, three proportions between the two units are obtained, 1:1, 2:3, and 1:3, which constitute three solute homogenization modes. The prevailing Mg-Gd-based alloys are consequently classified into three groups, respectively exemplified by GW103 K(Mg-10 Gd-3 Y-0.4 Zr, wt%), GW83 K(Mg-8 Gd-3 Y-0.4 Zr), and GW63 K(Mg-6 Gd-3 Y-0.4 Zr). Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloys were designed following the model(where Y and Zr were also added in substitution for Gd) and prepared by permanent-mould casting. | 9 | Effect of side deep placement of nitrogen on yield and nitrogen use efficiency of single season late japonica rice显示文摘Side deep placement of nitrogen plays an important role in improving rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency.Few studies have examined the effects of reducing the times of nitrogen(RTN)application and reducing the nitrogen rate(RNR)of application on rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency under side deep placement of nitrogen in paddy fields.Therefore,a field experiment of RNT and RNR treatments was conducted with nine fertilization modes during the 2018–2019 rice growing seasons in a rice–wheat cropping system of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,China.Rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency were investigated under side deep placement of nitrogen.We found that under the same nitrogen application rate,the yield of RTN3 increased by 9.64 and 10.18%in rice varieties NJ9108 and NJ5718,respectively,compared with the farmers’fertilizer practices(FFP).The nitrogen accumulation of RTN3 was the highest at heading stage,at 11.30 t ha^(–1)across 2018 and 2019.Under the same nitrogen application rate,the N agronomic use efficiency(NAE),N physiological efficiency(NPE)and N recovery efficiency(NRE)of RTN3 were 8.1–21.28%,8.51–41.76%and 0.28–14.52%higher than those of the other fertilization modes,respectively.RNR led to decreases in SPAD value,leaf area index(LAI),dry matter accumulation,nitrogen accumulation,and nitrogen use efficiency.These results suggest that RTN3 increased rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency under the side deep placement of nitrogen,and RNR1 could achieve the goals of saving cost and increasing resource use efficiency.Two fertilization modes RTN3 and RNR1 both could achieve the dual goals of increasing grain yield and resource use efficiency and thus are worth further application and investigation. | ZHAO Can HUANG Heng QIAN Zi-hui JIANG Heng-xin LIU Guang-ming XU Ke HU Ya-jie DAI Qigen HUO Zhong-yang | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2021,20,6: | 5 |
| 10 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure.
