1Ecohydrological change mechanism of a rainfed revegetation ecosystem at southeastern edge of Tengger desert,Northwest China显示文摘Study is made on a 45 km-long artificial ecosystem without irrigation in Tengger desert on the basis of long-term ecological monitoring and ecohydrological fundamentals.Changes in water allocation, utilization, cycle and balance patterns in more than 40-year evolution of the soil-plant system are analyzed. The formation of a drought horizon in shrub rhizosphere and its effect, ecohydrological function of the crust and its effect on the soil-plant system change are discussed. 2Development of microsatellite markers and their utilization in genetic diversity analysis of cultivated and wild populations of the mud carp (Cirrhina molitorella)显示文摘Microsatellite markers have been increasingly used in genetic studies on fishery species because of their high applicability in selective breeding programs. Here we reported the development of microsatellite markers and their utilization in mud carp (Cirrhina molitorella). An (CA)15 enriched library has been constructed for mud carp, using the magnetic beads enrichment procedure. Sequence analysis of 60 randomly picked positive colonies indicate that 56 (93.3%) of the colonies contain microsatellites. Microsatellite polymorphism was as-sessed using 10 mud carp individuals, and 12 microsatellite loci turned out to be polymorphic. We utilized these loci to study the genetic diversity of a wild population (WM) and a cultured population (CM) of the mud carp. A total of 109 alleles were detected with an average of 9.08 alleles per locus. The mean value of the observed heterozygosity of WM and CM was 0.6361 and 0.6417, respectively, and sig-nificant decrease of genetic diversity in CM was not observed. The genetic distance between the two populations was 0.1546 and the value of GST was 0.0473. 3Qiguiyishen decoction reduced the accumulation of extracellular matrix in the kidneys of rats with adriamycin-induced nephropathy显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Qiguiyishen decoction(QGYS) on the severity of nephropathy.METHODS: Twenty-four rats were randomly divided into four groups(Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) according to the random number table. Group Ⅰ as control group did not establish nephropathy model. Groups Ⅱ,Ⅲ, and Ⅳ were intravenously administered Adriamycin(7.5 mg/kg) through the tail vein to establish nephropathy model. QGYS was prepared with the extracts of Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Niuxi(RadixAchyran-this Bidentatae), and Chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuanxiong).Group Ⅳ was administered QGYS (2mL·kg-1·d-1), group Ⅲ was administered benazepril(10 mL·kg-1·d-1), and group Ⅰ, Ⅱ was administered water(2mL·kg-1·d-1)once daily for eight weeks.RESULTS: QGYS reduced the excretion of urinary protein and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase and alleviated the accumulation of extracellular matrix(ECM) in renal tissue. 4First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 5One-dimensional/three-dimensional analysis of transient cavitating flow in a venturi tube with special emphasis on cavitation excited pressure fluctuation prediction显示文摘The large eddy simulation(LES) method is used to simulate cavitating flow in a venturi tube. The simulated results agree fairly well with the experimental data. To quantitatively describe the relationship between cavitation evolution and excited pressure fluctuation in the venturi tube, a modified prediction model is proposed and its accuracy is verified by the LES results. Based on the original one-dimensional model for the external cavitating flow around a hydrofoil, this model is corrected according to the internal cavitating flow characteristics in the venturi tube. The results show that the original one-dimensional model ignores the choking effect of cavitating flow, which is obvious in a venturi tube with a narrow flow channel, thus leading to an inaccurate prediction of pressure fluctuation in the venturi tube. 6Seawater hydraulics:From the sea surface to depths of 11000 meters显示文摘Using seawater as the working medium,the seawater hydraulic system has significant advantages in the deep sea,such as eliminating contamination caused by oil leaks,no oil tanks,and the ability to automatically adapt to sea depths.As working depths increase,seawater hydraulic technology faces enormous challenges.First,the physical and chemical properties of seawater,such as density,temperature,and composition,change significantly.Second,hydraulic components are subject to an environmental pressure of up to 110 MPa,which causes serious deformation or even seizure of moving pairs and significantly affects the efficiency of hydraulic components.The friction and wear characteristics between the moving pairs also significantly change with the change in sea depth,therefore developing the matching material according to depth is necessary.Finally,the cavitation characteristic of a valve port is obviously different from that on land,so special material and structure should be used to improve the service life of the valve port.These factors severely restrict the improvement of the working depths and characteristics of seawater hydraulic components.This article focuses on the abovementioned problems and provides solutions for deep-sea seawater hydraulic technology.LIU YinShui CHENG Qian WANG ZhenYao PANG Hao DENG YiPan ZHOU XinPing LUO XiaoHui CUI Yan WU DeFa 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,9:2

13Chinese registry of rheumatoid arthritis(CREDIT)V:sex impacts rheumatoid arthritis in Chinese patients显示文摘Background: The impact of sex on the clinical manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were diversely reported in the literature. The Chinese Registry of rhEumatoiD arthrITis provides a platform for the investigation of this issue in Chinese patients.Methods: Demographic and clinical parameters were collected from all enrolled patients with RA and from patients with early RA (disease duration ≤6 months). The differences in data regarding disease activity, comorbidities, and medications for RA were compared between men and women. The proportions of patients who achieved remission and low disease activity were compared at enrollment and during 3-, 6-, and 12-month follow-up visits.Results: A total of 11,564 patients were enrolled, 83.6% of whom were female. In all the enrolled patients and patients with early RA, C-reactive protein (CRP, 12.0vs. 6.7 mg/L), pain visual analogue scale (4.8vs. 4.5), patient’s and physician’s global assessment (4.9vs. 4.5 and 4.9vs. 4.5), 28-joint disease activity score using DAS28-CRP (4.3vs. 4.0) simplified disease activity index (21.9vs. 19.9), and clinical disease activity index (19.3vs. 18.0) were significantly higher in men than in women. Additionally, the swollen joint count/tender joint count and DAS28 using erythrocyte sedimentation rate were higher in male patients than in female patients with early RA. More female patients with early RA reached the treatment target at baseline than male patients (23.4%vs. 18.2%, assessed by CDAI). At 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months, the proportion of remission and treatment target achievement was similar in both sexes. Coronary artery disease (CAD) and stroke were more frequent in men than in women.Conclusions: In Chinese patients with RA, men were found to have more active disease, as well as more cases of CAD and stroke. 15Anthropogenic monoterpenes aggravating ozone pollution显示文摘Monoterpenes have been known to have a critical influence on air quality and climate change through their impact on the formation of fine particles.Here we present field evidence that monoterpene oxidations largely enhanced local ozone production in a regional site in eastern China.The observed monoterpene was most likely from biomass burning rather than biogenic emissions,as indicated by the high correlation with CO at night-time,and the observed ratio of these two species was consistent with previously determined values from biomass burning experiments.Fast monoterpene oxidations were determined experimentally based on direct radical measurements,leading to a daily ozone enhancement of 4-18 parts per billion by volume(ppb),which was 6%-16%of the total ozone production,depending on the speciation of monoterpenes.It demonstrates that the previously overlo oked anthropogenic monoterpenes make an important contribution to 0_(3) production in eastern China.The role could possibly be important at similar locations across China and other parts of the world that are characterized by massive emissions,especially where there are high NO_(x) levels.Our results highlight that anthropogenic monoterpenes should be taken into account when proceeding with the coordinated mitigation of O_(3) and particulate matter pollution.Haichao Wang Xuefei Ma Zhaofeng Tan Hongli Wang Xiaorui Chen Shiyi Chen Yaqin Gao Ying Liu Yuhan Liu Xinping Yang Bin Yuan Limin Zeng Cheng Huang Keding Lu Yuanhang Zhang 2022National Science Review2022,9,9:1

18A critical review on composite solid electrolytes for lithium batteries:Design strategies and interface engineering显示文摘The rapid development of new energy vehicles and 5G communication technologies has led to higher demands for the safety,energy density,and cycle performance of lithium-ion batteries as power sources.However,the currently used liquid carbonate compounds in commercial lithium-ion battery electrolytes pose potential safety hazards such as leakage,swelling,corrosion,and flammability.Solid electrolytes can be used to mitigate these risks and create a safer lithium battery.Furthermore,high-energy density can be achieved by using solid electrolytes along with high-voltage cathode and metal lithium anode.Two types of solid electrolytes are generally used:inorganic solid electrolytes and polymer solid electrolytes.Inorganic solid electrolytes have high ionic conductivity,electrochemical stability window,and mechanical strength,but suffer from large solid/solid contact resistance between the electrode and electrolyte.Polymer solid electrolytes have good flexibility,processability,and contact interface properties,but low room temperature ionic conductivity,necessitating operation at elevated temperatures.Composite solid electrolytes(CSEs) are a promising alternative because they offer light weight and flexibility,like polymers,as well as the strength and stability of inorganic electrolytes.This paper presents a comprehensive review of recent advances in CSEs to help researchers optimize CSE composition and interactions for practical applications.It covers the development history of solid-state electrolytes,CSE properties with respect to nanofillers,morphology,and polymer types,and also discusses the lithium-ion transport mechanism of the composite electrolyte,and the methods of engineering interfaces with the positive and negative electrodes.Overall,the paper aims to provide an outlook on the potential applications of CSEs in solid-state lithium batteries,and to inspire further research aimed at the development of more systematic optimization strategies for CSEs.Tianqi Yang Cheng Wang Wenkui Zhang Yang Xia Hui Huang Yongping Gan Xinping He Xinhui Xia Xinyong Tao Jun Zhang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:0
19Aberrant expression of the extracellular matrix component Biglycan regulated by Hedgehog signalling promotes colorectal cancer cell proliferation显示文摘Hedgehog(Hh)signalling plays essential roles in regulating embryonic development and contributes to tumour initiation,growth and progression in multiple cancers.The detailed mechanism by which Hh signalling participates in tumour growth warrants thorough study,although several downstream target genes have been identified.Herein,a set of novel targets of Hh signalling was identified in multiple types of tumour cells via RNA-Seq analysis.Among these targets,the expression regulation and oncogenic function of the extracellular matrix component biglycan(BGN)were investigated.Further investigation verified that Hh signalling activates the expression of BGN via the transcription factor Gli2,which directly binds to the promoter region of BGN.Functional assays revealed that BGN facilitates tumour cell growth and proliferation in colorectal cancer(CRC)cells,and xenograft assays confirmed that BGN also promotes tumour growth in vivo.Moreover,analysis of clinical CRC samples showed that both the protein and mRNA levels of BGN are increased in CRC tissues compared to those in adjacent tissues,and higher expression of BGN is correlated with poorer prognosis of CRC patients,further confirming the function of BGN in CRC.Taken together,aberrantly activated Hh signalling increases the expression of BGN,possibly regulates the extracellular matrix,and thereby promotes tumour growth in CRC.Shaopeng Zeng Feifei Zhou Yiqing Wang Zhenyu Zhai Linlin Xu Hailong Wang Xinping Chen Shiwen Luo Minzhang Cheng 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,2:0
