1Design of PID controller with incomplete derivation based on differential evolution algorithm显示文摘To determine the optimal or near optimal parameters of PID controller with incomplete derivation, a novel design method based on differential evolution (DE) algorithm is presented. The controller is called DE-PID controller. To overcome the disadvantages of the integral performance criteria in the frequency domain such as IAE, ISE, and ITSE, a new performance criterion in the time domain is proposed. The optimization procedures employing the DE algorithm to search the optimal or near optimal PID controller parameters of a control system are demonstrated in detail. Three typical control systems are chosen to test and evaluate the adaptation and robustness of the proposed DE-PID controller. The simulation results show that the proposed approach has superior features of easy implementation, stable convergence characteristic, and good computational effciency. 2Self-adapting control parameters modifieddifferential evolution for trajectoryplanning of manipulators显示文摘Control parameters of original differential evolution(DE)are kept fixed throughout the entire evolutionary process.However,it is not an easy task to properly set control parameters in DE for different optimization problems. According to the relative position of two different individual vectors selected to generate a difference vector in the searching place,a self-adapting strategy for the scale factor F of the difference vector is proposed.In terms of the convergence status of the target vector in the current population,a self-adapting crossover probability constant CR strategy is proposed. Therefore,good target vectors have a lower CR while worse target vectors have a large CR.At the same time,the mutation operator is modified to improve the convergence speed.The performance of these proposed approaches are studied with the use of some benchmark problems and applied to the trajectory planning of a three-joint redundant manipulator.Finally, the experiment results show that the proposed approaches can greatly improve robustness and convergence speed.Lianghong WU Yaonan WANG Shaowu ZHOU 2007控制理论与应用(英文版)2007,5,4:12
3Improved differential evolution algorithm for resource-constrained project scheduling problem显示文摘An improved differential evolution(IDE)algorithm that adopts a novel mutation strategy to speed up the convergence rate is introduced to solve the resource-constrained project scheduling problem(RCPSP)with the objective of minimizing project duration Activities priorities for scheduling are represented by individual vectors and a senal scheme is utilized to transform the individual-represented priorities to a feasible schedule according to the precedence and resource constraints so as to be evaluated.To investigate the performance of the IDE-based approach for the RCPSP,it is compared against the meta-heuristic methods of hybrid genetic algorithm(HGA),particle swarm optimization(PSO) and several well selected heuristics.The results show that the proposed scheduling method is better than general heuristic rules and is able to obtain the same optimal result as the HGA and PSO approaches but more efficient than the two algorithms.Lianghong Wu Yaonan Wang Shaowu Zhou 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,5:4
4Combination of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and brain-derived neurotrophic factor for treating spinal cord injury显示文摘BACKGROUND: Because bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) do not secrete sufficient brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), the use of exogenous BDNF could improve microenvironments in injured regions for BMSCs differentiation. OBJECTIVE: To analyze recovery of the injured spinal cord following BMSCs venous transplantation in combination with consecutive injections of BDNF. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled animal experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of First Hospital and Anatomical Laboratory, Fujian Medical University from October 2004 to May 2006. MATERIALS: Human BDNF was purchased from Sigma, USA. METHODS: A total of 44 New Zealand rabbits were randomly assigned to model (n = 8), BDNF (n = 12), BMSC (n = 12), and BMSC+BDNF (n = 12) groups. Spinal cord (L2) injury was established with the dropping method. The model group rabbits were injected with 1 mL normal saline via the ear margin vein; the BDNF group was subdurally injected with 100 μg/d human BDNF for 1 week; the BMSC group was injected with 1 mL BMSCs suspension (2 × 106/mL) via the ear margin vein; and the BMSC+BDNF group rabbits were subdurally injected with 100 μg/d BDNF for 1 week, in addition to BMSCs suspension via the ear margin vein. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: BMSCs surface markers were detected by flow cytometry. BMSCs differentiation in the injured spinal cord was detected by immunofluorescence histochemistry. Functional and structural recovery, as well as morphological changes, in the injured spinal cord were respectively detected by Tarlov score, horseradish peroxidase retrograde tracing, and hematoxylin & eosin staining methods at 1, 3, and 5 weeks following transplantation. RESULTS: Transplanted BMSCs differentiated into neuronal-like cells in the injured spinal cord at 3 and 5 weeks following transplantation. Neurological function and pathological damage improved following BMSC + BDNF treatment compared with BDNF or BMSC alone (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). 5Preparation and Evaluation of Insulin-loaded Nanoparticles based on Hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin Modified Carboxymethyl Chitosan for Oral Delivery显示文摘Novel insulin-loaded nanoparticles based on hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin modified carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC-HP-β-CD) were prepared to improve the oral bioavailability of insulin. The CMC-HP-β-CD was characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and 1H-NMR spectra. The insulin-loaded nanoparticles were prepared through crosslinking with calcium ions, and the morphology and size of the prepared nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and dynamic light scattering(DLS). Cumulative release in vitro study was performed respectively in simulated gastric medium fluid(SGF, p H=1.2), simulated intestinal fluid(SIF, p H=6.8) and simulated colonic fluid(SCF, p H=7.4). The encapsulation efficiency of insulin was up to 87.14 ± 4.32% through high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). Statistics indicated that only 15% of the encapsulated insulin was released from the CMC-HP-β-CD nanoparticles in 36 h in SGF, and about 50% of the insulin could be released from the nanoparticles in SIF, whereas more than 80% was released in SCF. In addition, the solution containing insulin nanoparticles could effectively reduce the blood glucose level of diabetic mice. The cytotoxicity test showed that the samples had no cytotoxicity. 6Design of mixed H-two/H-infinity optimal control systems using multiobjective differential evolution algorithm显示文摘In this paper, the mixed H-two/H-infinity control synthesis problem is stated as a multiobjective opti-mization problem, with objectives of minimizing the H-two and H-infinity norms simultaneously. Instead of building a LMIs-based synthesis algorithm, a self-adaptive control parameter multiobjective differential evolution algorithm is developed directly in the controller parameters space. In the case of systems with polytopic uncertainties, the worst case norm computation is formulated as an implicit optimization problem, and the proposed self-adaptive differential evolution is employed to calculate the worst case H-two and H-infinity norms. 20Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND
