| 2 | Mechanical and dielectric properties of porous and wave-transparent Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics fabricated by 3D printing combined with chemical vapor infiltration显示文摘Porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics were fabricated by 3D printing combined with low-pressure chemical vapor infiltration(CVI).This technique could effectively improve the designability of porous Si3N4 ceramics and optimize the mechanical and dielectric properties.The effects of process parameters including the deposition time and heat treatment on the microstructure and properties of porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics were studied.The study highlights following:When CVI processing time was increased from 0 to 12 h,the porosity decreased from68.65%to 26.07%and the density increased from 0.99 to 2.02 g/cm3.At the same time,the dielectric constant gradually increased from 1.72 to 3.60;however,the dielectric loss always remained less than0.01,indicating the excellent electromagnetic(EM)wave-transparent performance of porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics.The maximum flexural strength of 47±2 MPa was achieved when the deposition time attained 6 h.After heat treatment,the porosity increased from 26.07%to 36.02%and the dielectric constant got a slight increase from 3.60 to 3.70 with the dielectric loss still maintaining lower than 0.01.It has been demonstrated that the porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics are a promising structural and EM wave-transparent material suitable for high temperature service. | Zanlin CHENG Fang YE Yongsheng LIU Tianlu QIAO Jianping LI Hailong QIN Laifei CHENG Litong ZHANG | 2019 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2019,8,3: | 10 |
| 3 | Controllable synthesis of mesoporous carbon hollow microsphere twined by CNT for enhanced microwave absorption performance显示文摘The low dielectric loss of mesoporous carbon hollow microsphere(PCHM)requires high filler loading(higher than 20 wt%)when it is used as microwave absorbers.In order to decrease the filler loading of PCHM,a new strategy for synergistic increase of polarization and conductive loss was developed by twining PCHM with carbon nanotube(CNT)according to theoretic calculation.By the optimization of CNT content,the minimum reflection coefficient was -34.6 dB with a filler loading of only 10 wt%,which was much lower than -2.1 dB of PCHM.In addition,the effective absorption bandwidth was 3.6 GHz at X band with a thickness of 2.8 mm.The enhanced microwave absorption performance can be ascribed to the unique combination of hollow PCHM and one-dimensional CNT with higher graphitization degree,leading to increase of conductivity and heterogeneous interfaces.As a result,the conductive loss increased from 0.12 to 2.27 and polarization loss increased from 0.15 to 0.67,achieving the balance between attenuation ability and impedance match. | Minghang Li Xiaomeng Fan Hailong Xu Fang Ye Jimei Xue Xiaoqiang Li Laifei Cheng | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,59,24: | 4 |
| 4 | Changes in compressed neurons from dogs with acute and severe cauda equina constrictions following intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor-conjugated polymer nanoparticles显示文摘This study established a dog model of acute multiple cauda equina constriction by experimental constriction injury (48 hours) of the lumbosacral central processes in dorsal root ganglia neurons. The repair effect of intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor with 15 mg encapsulated biodegradable poly(lactide-co-glycolide) nanoparticles on this injury was then analyzed. Dorsal root ganglion cells (L7) of all experimental dogs were analyzed using hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry at 1, 2 and 4 weeks following model induction. Intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor can relieve degeneration and inflammation, and elevate the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in sensory neurons of compressed dorsal root ganglion. Simultaneously, intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor obviously improved neurological function in the dog model of acute multiple cauda equina constriction. | 16 | Pterostilbene antagonizes homocysteine-induced oxidative stress,apoptosis and lipid deposition in vascular endothelial cells显示文摘Hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy)causes oxidative stress, induces apoptosis, and leads to damage to the vascular endothelium is the starting point of atherosclerosis. Pterostilbene(Pte)has been reported to have antioxidant and anti-apoptotic effects under various pathological conditions. The purpose of this study was to explore whether Pte can inhibit the oxidative stress and apoptosis of vascular endothelium induced by homocysteine(Hcy)and to explain the possible mechanism by which it occurs. The results showed that 20 μmol/L Pte significantly reduced the accumulation of reactive oxygen species, malondialdehyde, and lipids in cells induced by Hcy and promoted the activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase. The Hoechst 33342/PI staining assay showed that Pte antagonized Hcy-induced apoptosis. Pte inhibited Hcy-induced Akt dephosphorylation, increased p53, and decreased the Bcl-2/Bax ratio and caspase-9/caspase-3 activation in a dose-dependent manner. LY294002 pretreatment partially reversed the protective effect of Pte by blocking the PI3K/Akt pathway. Moreover, Pte reduced lipid deposition in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs). This study proposes that Pte can inhibit Hcy-induced oxidative stress and apoptosis of HUVECs, and the PI3K/Akt/p53 signaling pathway of apoptosis was revealed. | 19 | Economic Critical Resources for the Industrial Exploitation of Natural Gas Hydrate显示文摘Since the implementation of several pilot production tests were in natural gas hydrate(NGH) reservoirs in terrestrial and marine settings, the study of NGH has entered a new stage of technological development for industrial exploitation. Prior to the industrial exploitation of any given NGH reservoir, the economic feasibility should be examined. The first step of economic evaluation of a NGH reservoir is to know whether its resource amount meets the requirement for industrial exploitation. Unfortunately, few relevant studies have been conducted in this regard. In this study, the net present value(NPV) method is employed to estimate the economic critical resources required for the industrial exploitation of NGHs under different production scenarios. Sensitivity analysis is also performed in order to specify the effects of key factors, such as the number of production wells, gas price, technological improvement and tax incentive, on the economic critical resources. The results indicate that China requires the lowest economic critical resource for a NGH reservoir to be industrially exploited, ranging from 3.62 to 24.02 billion m3 methane. | 20 | Hydrodearomatization Kinetics of Diesel Fraction and Catalyst Stacking Simulation显示文摘The kinetics of hydrodearomatization (HDA) is studied in an isothermal high-throughput reactor over three catalysts (CoMo, NiMo, and NiMoW) to produce clean diesel fuel according to China’s latest emission standards. The influences of reaction temperature, pressure, the ratio of H2 to oil, and space time were systematically investigated. By analyzing the reaction mechanism, a four-lump kinetic model considering the influence of competitive adsorption was proposed for the hydrodearomatization reaction, and the model parameters were optimized with good fitting. It was found that nitrogen compounds inhibited the hydrodearomatization reaction. The simulation of various catalyst stacking schemes based on the HDA kinetic model is close to the experimental data, proving the reliability of the model.
