1Chinese consensus guidelines for diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal stromal tumor显示文摘In order to further promote the standardization of diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST) in China, the members of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) Expert Committee on GIST thoroughly discussed the key contents of the consensus guidelines, and voted on the controversial issue. In final, the Chinese consensus guidelines for the diagnosis and management of GIST(2017 edition) was formed on the basis of 2013 edition consensus guidelines, which is hereby announced. 3SHRIMP zircon U-Pb age and Nd isotopic study on the Nyainqêntanglha Group in Tibet显示文摘The Nyainqêntanglha Group is traditionally viewed as the oldest metamorphic basement in the Lhasa block, but its formation age and tectonic setting remain debate. Zircons extracted from the metamorphic sequence of volcanics and intrusions of the Nyainqêntanglha Group, 10 km west of Nam Co in northern Lhasa block, have been investigated by cathodolu- minescence (CL), backscattered (BSE) and dated by ion microprobe (SHRIMP). We conclude that the U-Pb age of 787±9 Ma of zircons from the trondhjemite imposes a constraint on maxi- mum protolith age, and minimum formation age of the Nyainqêntanglha Group is constrained by U-Pb age of 748±8 Ma of zircons from the granite. The formation age of the Nyainqêntanglha Group is consistent with sedimentary age of Greater Himalayan rocks, showing that they devel- oped coevally in an arc-basin tectonic setting of Neoproterozoic active continental margin along the northern margin of the India shield. The inherited zircons from the tholetiite and granite give older 207Pb/206Pb ages from 947 to 1766 Ma. The positive εNd( t ) value indicates that the mafic rocks were derived from the depleted mantle, but contaminated by the older continental crustal material. 7Facile Synthesis and Application of Ag-Chemically Converted Graphene Nanocomposite显示文摘An in situ chemical synthesis approach has been employed to prepare an Ag-chemically converted graphene (CCG) nanocomposite. The reduction of graphene oxide sheets was accompanied by generation of Ag nanoparticles. The structure and composition of the nanocomposites were confirmed by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction. TEM and AFM results suggest a homogeneous distribution of Ag nanoparticles (5-10 nm in size) on CCG sheets. The intensities of the Raman signals of CCG in such nanocomposites are greatly increased by the attached silver nanoparticles, i.e., there is surface-enhanced Raman scattering activity. 8The application of large volume airgun sources to the onshore-offshore seismic surveys: implication of the experimental results in northern South China Sea显示文摘Onshore-offshore seismic experiments were carried out for the first time in northern South China Sea using large volume airgun sources at sea and seismic stations on land. The experimental results indicate that seismic signals from the new airgun array of R/V Shiyan 2 can be detected as far as 255 km. The signal effective area reaches nearly 50000 km2, which covers Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta. Compared with the old airgun array, the signal amplitude, propagation distance and effective area of the new airgun array have been increased notably, which demonstrates that the upgrade of the airgun source was successful. Comparisons with previous experimental results in other regions show that the shooting effect of the new airgun array is similar to those best airgun sources in the world. 10Hydrogen sulfide regulates abiotic stress tolerance and biotic stress resistance in Arabidopsis显示文摘Hydrogen sulfide(H_2S) is an important gaseous molecule in various plant developmental processes and plant stress responses.In this study,the transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana plants with modulated expressions of two cysteine desulfhydrases,and exogenous H_2S donor(sodium hydrosulfide,NaHS) and H_2S scavenger(hypotaurine,HT) pre-treated plants were used to dissect the involvement of H_2S in plant stress responses.The cysteine desulfhydrases overexpressing plants and NaHS pre-treated plants exhibited higher endogenous H_2S level and improved abiotic stress tolerance and biotic stress resistance,while cysteine desulfhydrases knockdown plants and HT pre-treated plants displayed lower endogenous H_2S level and decreased stress resistance.Moreover,H_2S upregulated the transcripts of multiple abiotic and biotic stress-related genes,and inhibited reactive oxygen species(ROS) accumulation.Interestingly,MIR393-mediated auxin signaling including MIR393a/b and their target genes(TIR1,AFB1,AFB2,and AFB3) was transcriptionally regulated by H_2S,and was related with H_2S-induced antibacterial resistance.Moreover,H_2S regulated 50 carbon metabolites including amino acids,organic acids,sugars,sugar alcohols,and aromatic amines.Taken together,these results indicated that cysteine desulfhydrase and H_2S conferred abiotic stress tolerance and biotic stress resistance,via affecting the stress-related gene expressions,ROS metabolism,metabolic homeostasis,and MIR393-targeted auxin receptors.Haitao Shi Tiantian Ye Ning Han Hongwu Bian Xiaodong Liu Zhulong Chan 2015Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2015,57,7:26
11KRAS and BRAF gene mutations and DNA mismatch repair status in Chinese colorectal carcinoma patients显示文摘AIM:To investigate gene mutations and DNA mismatch repair(MMR) protein abnormality in Chinese colorectalcarcinoma(CRC) patients and their correlations with clinicopathologic features.METHODS:Clinical and pathological information for 535 patients including 538 tumors was reviewed and recorded.Mutation analyses for exon 2 of KRAS gene and exon 15 of BRAF gene were performed by Sanger sequencing except that in 9 tumors amplification refractory mutation system PCR was used.Expression of MMR proteins including MHL1,MSH2,MSH6 and PMS2 was evaluated by immunohistochemistry.Correlations of KRAS and BRAF mutation status and the expression status of MMR proteins with age,gender,cancer stage,location,and histology were analyzed.Correlations between KRAS or BRAF mutations and MMR protein expression were also explored.RESULTS:The overall frequencies of KRAS and BRAF mutations were 37.9% and 4.4%,respectively.KRAS mutations were more common in patients ≥ 50 years old(39.8% vs 22% in patients < 50 years old,P < 0.05).The frequencies of BRAF mutants were higher in tumors from females(6.6% vs males 2.8%,P < 0.05),located in the right colon(9.6% vs 2.1% in the left colon,1.8% in the rectum,P < 0.01),with mucinous differentiation(9.8% vs 2.8% without mucinous differentiation,P < 0.01),or being poorly differentiated(9.5% vs 3.4% well/moderately differentiated,P < 0.05).MMR deficiency was strongly associated with proximal location(20.5% in the right colon vs 9.2% in the left colon and 5.1% in the rectum,P < 0.001),early cancer stage(15.0% in stages Ⅰ-Ⅱ vs 7.7% in stages Ⅲ-Ⅳ,P < 0.05),and mucinous differentiation(20.2% vs 9.2% without mucin,P < 0.01).A higher frequency of MLH1/PMS2 loss was found in females(9.2% vs 4.4% in males,P < 0.05),and MSH2/MSH6 loss tended to be seen in younger(<50 years old) patients(12.0% vs 4.0% ≥ 50 years old,P < 0.05).MMR deficient tumors were less likely to have KRAS mutations(18.8% vs 41.7% in MMR proficient tumors,P < 0.05) and tumorswith abnormal MLH1/PMS2 tended to harbor BRAF mutations(15.4% vs 4.2% in MMR proficient tumors,P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:The frequency of sporadic CRCs having BRAF mutation,MLH1 deficiency and MSI in Chinese population may be lower than that in the Western population.Ju-Xiang Ye Yan Liu Yun Qin Hao-Hao Zhong Wei-Ning Yi Xue-Ying Shi 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,5:26
12Geospatial-temporal analysis of land-use changes in the Yellow River Delta during the last 40 years显示文摘Comprehensive study on land-use change of spatial pattern and temporal process is the key component in land use/land cover changes (LUCC) study nowadays. According to the theories and methods of Geo-information Tupu (Carto-methodology in Geo-information, CMGI) for geospatial and temporal analysis and integration models of spatial pattern and temporal processes in GIS, the paper puts forward Tupu methodology of land-use change and names the basic synthetic unit of spatial-temporal information Tupu unit. Tupu unit is the synthetic unit for geospatial-temporal analysis, which is synthesized by “space·attribute·process”features and composed of relatively homogeneous geographic unit and temporal unit. Based on the spatial features of 4 stages of land-use change in 1956, 1984, 1991, and 1996, a series of Tupu on land-use change in the Yellow River Delta (YRD) are created and studied in the paper, which includes 3 temporal units of spatial-temporal Tupu, process Tupu of land-use changes during the last 40 years, and reconstructions of a series of “arisen”Tupu, “arisen”process Tupu and pattern Tupu on land-use changes in the last 40 years by remapping tables of a reclassifying system. There are 3 methods of Tupu analysis on land-use change that are used to disclose change processes of land-use spatial conversion in YRD, such as spatial query and statistics, order of Tupu units by area and land-use conversion matrixes. In order to reveal the spatial pattern of land-use change processes, we analyze spatial-temporal changes of each Tupu above in various temporal units and spatial difference of pattern Tupu in the last 40 years by dynamic Tupu units. Tupu analysis on regional land-use is a promising trial on the comprehensive research of “spatial pattern of dynamic process”and “temporal process of spatial pattern”in LUCC research. 14Short-term outcomes of laparoscopic total mesorectal excision compared to open surgery显示文摘AIM:To investigate the short-term outcome of laparoscopic total mesorectal excision(TME) in patients with mid and low rectal cancers.METHODS:A consecutive series of 138 patients with middle and low rectal cancer were randomly assigned to either the laparoscopic TME(LTME) group or the open TME(OTME) group between September 2008 and July 2011 at the Department of Colorectal Cancer of Shanghai Cancer Center,Fudan University and pathological data,as well as surgical technique were reviewed retrospectively.Short-term clinical and oncological outcome were compared in these two groups.Patients were followed in the outpatient clinic 2 wk after the surgery and then every 3 mo in the first year if no adjuvant chemoradiation was indicated.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 13.0 software.RESULTS:Sixty-seven patients were treated with LTME and 71 patients were treated with OTME(sex ratio 1.3:1vs 1.29:1,age 58.4 ± 13.6 years vs 59.6 ± 9.4 years,respectively).The resection was considered curative in all cases.The sphincter-preserving rate was 65.7%(44/67) vs 60.6%(43/71),P = 0.046;mean blood loss was 86.9 ± 37.6 mL vs 119.1 ± 32.7 mL,P = 0.018;postoperative analgesia was 2.1 ± 0.6 d vs 3.9 ± 1.8 d,P = 0.008;duration of urinary drainage was 4.7 ± 1.8 d vs 6.9 ± 3.4 d,P = 0.016,respectively.The conversion rate was 2.99%.The complication rate,circumferential margin involvement,distal margins and lymph node yield were similar for both procedures.No port site recurrence,anastomotic recurrence or mortality was observed during a median follow-up period of 21 mo(range:9-56 mo).CONCLUSION:Laparoscopic TME is safe and feasible,with an oncological adequacy comparable to the open approach.Further studies with more patients and longer follow-up are needed to confirm the present results.Jing Gong De-Bing Shi Xin-Xiang Li San-Jun Cai Zu-Qing Guan Ye Xu 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,48:23
15Epidemiology of Diabetes in Adults Aged 35 and Older from Shanghai,China显示文摘Objective This study aimed to investigate the epidemiology of diabetes in adults from Shanghai, aged 35 and older, in 2013. Methods We estimated the diabetes prevalence in a representative sample of 18,736 adults who were selected through a multistage stratified cluster sampling process. A standard questionnaire containing questions about demographic characteristics and lifestyle factors was distributed. After an overnight fast of at least 10 hours, a venous blood sample was collected from each participant. For each patient without a history of diabetes, another blood sample was drawn 120 min after an oral glucose tolerance test to identify undiagnosed diabetes and prediabetic condition. Results Among Shanghai residents aged 35 and above, the overall weighted prevalence of diabetes was 17.6% [95% confidence interval(CI): 16.4%-18.8%]. The prevalences were 19.3% in men and 15.8% in women as well as 19.1%, 15.4%, and 16.1% in urban, suburban, and rural residents, respectively. In addition, the weighted prevalence of prediabetes was 16.5%(95% CI: 15.3%-17.8%), with the prevalences of 16.5% in men, 16.6% in women, 15.2% in urban residents, 18.0% in suburban residents, and 18.5% in rural residents. Among all patients with diabetes, 68.1%(95% CI: 64.3%-71.6%) were aware of their status, 63.5%(95% CI: 60.0%-66.9%) received diabetes treatment, but only 35.1%(95% CI: 32.4%-37.8%) had adequate glycemic control. Conclusion In Shanghai, diabetes and prediabetes are highly prevalent. 16The second natural gas hydrate production test in the South China Sea显示文摘Clayey silt reservoirs bearing natural gas hydrates(NGH)are considered to be the hydrate-bearing reservoirs that boast the highest reserves but tend to be the most difficult to exploit.They are proved to be exploitable by the first NGH production test conducted in the South China Sea in 2017.Based on the understanding of the first production test,the China Geological Survey determined the optimal target NGH reservoirs for production test and conducted a detailed assessment,numerical and experimental simulation,and onshore testing of the reservoirs.After that,it conducted the second offshore NGH production test in 1225 m deep Shenhu Area,South China Sea(also referred to as the second production test)from October 2019 to April 2020.During the second production test,a series of technical challenges of drilling horizontal wells in shallow soft strata in deep sea were met,including wellhead stability,directional drilling of a horizontal well,reservoir stimulation and sand control,and accurate depressurization.As a result,30 days of continuous gas production was achieved,with a cumulative gas production of 86.14×104 m3.Thus,the average daily gas production is 2.87×10^4 m^3,which is 5.57 times as much as that obtained in the first production test.Therefore,both the cumulative gas production and the daily gas production were highly improved compared to the first production test.As indicated by the monitoring results of the second production test,there was no anomaly in methane content in the seafloor,seawater,and atmosphere throughout the whole production test.This successful production test further indicates that safe and effective NGH exploitation is feasible in clayey silt NGH reservoirs.The industrialization of hydrates consists of five stages in general,namely theoretical research and simulation experiments,exploratory production test,experimental production test,productive production test,and commercial production.The second production test serves as an important step from the exploratory production test to experimental production test.Jian-liang Ye Xu-wen Qin Wen-wei Xie Hai-long Lu Bao-jin Ma Hai-jun Qiu Jin-qiang Liang Jing-an Lu Zeng-gui Kuang Cheng Lu Qian-yong Liang Shi-peng Wei Yan-jiang Yu Chunsheng Liu Bin Li Kai-xiang Shen Hao-xian Shi Qiu-ping Lu Jing Li Bei-bei Kou Gang Song Bo Li He-en Zhang Hong-feng Lu Chao Ma Yi-fei Dong Hang Bian 2020China Geology2020,3,2:22

20Clinical trial with traditional Chinese medicine intervention ''tonifying the kidney to promote liver regeneration and repair by affecting stem cells and their microenvironment'' for chronic hepatitis B-associated liver failure显示文摘AIM:To study the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)intervention'tonifying the kidney to promote liver regeneration and repair by affecting stem cells and their microenvironment'('TTK')for treating liver failure due to chronic hepatitis B.METHODS:We designed the study as a randomized controlled clinical trial.Registration number of Chinese Clinical Trial Registry is Chi CTR-TRC-12002961.A total of 144 patients with liver failure due to infection with chronic hepatitis B virus were enrolled in this randomized controlled clinical study.Participants were randomly assigned to the following three groups:(1)a modern medicine control group(MMC group,36patients);(2)a'tonifying qi and detoxification'('TQD')group(72 patients);and(3)a'tonifying the kidney to promote liver regeneration and repair by affecting stem cells and their microenvironment'('TTK')group(36patients).Patients in the MMC group received general internal medicine treatment;patients in the'TQD'group were given a TCM formula'tonifying qi and detoxification'and general internal medicine treatment;patients in the'TTK'group were given a TCM formula of'TTK'and general internal medicine treatment.All participants were treated for 8 wk and then followed at 48 wk following their final treatment.The primaryefficacy end point was the patient fatality rate in each group.Measurements of various virological and biochemical indicators served as secondary endpoints.The one-way analysis of variance and the t-test were used to compare patient outcomes in the different treatment groups.RESULTS:At the 48-wk post-treatment time point,the patient fatality rates in the MMC,'TQD',and'TTK'groups were 51.61%,35.38%,and 16.67%,respectively,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there were no significant differences in the levels of hepatitis B virus DNA or prothrombin activity among the three groups(P>0.05).Patients in the'TTK'group had significantly higher levels of serum total bilirubin compared to MMC subjects(339.40μmol/L±270.09μmol/L vs 176.13μmol/L±185.70μmol/L,P=0.014).Serum albumin levels were significantly increased in both the'TQD'group and'TTK'group as compared with the MMC group(31.30 g/L±4.77g/L,30.72 g/L±2.89 g/L vs 28.57 g/L±4.56 g/L,P<0.05).There were no significant differences in levels of alanine transaminase among the three groups(P>0.05).Safety data showed that there was one case of stomachache in the'TQD'group and one case of gastrointestinal side effect in the'TTK'group.CONCLUSION:Treatment with'TTK'improved the survival rates of patients with liver failure due to chronic hepatitis B.Additionally,liver tissue was regenerated and liver function was restored.Han-Min Li Zhi-Hua Ye Jun Zhang Xiang Gao Yan-Ming Chen Xin Yao Jian-Xun Gu Lei Zhan Yang Ji Jian-Liang Xu Ying-He Zeng Fan Yang Lin Xiao Guo-Guang Sheng Wei Xin Qi Long Qing-Jing Zhu Zhao-Hong Shi Lian-Guo Ruan Jia-Yao Yang Chang-Chun Li Hong-Bin Wu Sheng-Duo Chen Xin-La Luo 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,48:20
