1M0S2 dual-gate transistors with electrostatically doped contacts显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)such as molybdenum disulfide(M0S2)have been intensively investigated because of their exclusive physical properties for advaneed electronics and optoelectronics.In the present work,we study the M0S2 transistor based on a novel tri-gate device architecture,with dual-gate(Dual-G)in the channel and the buried side-gate(Side-G)for the source/drain regi ons.All gates can be in depe ndently con trolled without in terfere nee.For a MoS2 sheet with a thick ness of 3.6 nm,the Schottky barrier(SB)and non-overlapped channel region can be effectively tuned by electrostatically doping the source/drain regions with Side-G.Thus,the extri nsic resista nee can be effectively lowered,and a boost of the ON-state cur re nt can be achieved.Mean while,the cha nn el c ontrol remai ns efficient under the Dual-G mode,with an ON-OFF current ratio of 3 x 107 and subthreshold swing of 83 mV/decade.The corresponding band diagram is also discussed to illustrate the device operati on mechanism.This no vel device structure ope ns up a new way toward fabricati on of high-performance devices based on 2D-TMDs.Fuyou Liao Yaocheng Sheng Zhongxun Guo Hongwei Tang Yin Wang Lingyi Zong Xinyu Chen Antoine Riaud Jiahe Zhu Yufeng Xie Lin Chen Hao Zhu Qingqing Sun Peng Zhou Xiangwei Jiang Jing Wan Wenzhong Bao David Wei Zhang 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:2

4Enriched endoplasmic reticulum-mitochondria interactions result in mitochondrial dysfunction and apoptosis in oocytes from obese mice显示文摘Background: Maternal obesity alters oocytes and subsequent fetal metabolism. An increasing number of studies have shown that the endoplasmic reticulums(ER) or mitochondria have important effects on oocyte quality, but there has been no study of the effect of mitochondria-associated ER membranes(MAMs) on oocyte quality. The present study was designed to assess whether the level of MAM and MAM-related proteins were different in oocytes from obese and control mice.Results: First, oocytes from mice with high-fat-diet(HFD)-induced obesity had higher levels(either greater numbers or a higher proportion for the same numbers) of MAM than oocytes from control mice. The abundance of MAM-related proteins in oocytes from obese mice was significantly greater at both the messenger RNA and protein levels, including inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor, type 1(IP3R1), inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor,type 2(IP3 R2) and phosphofurin acidic cluster sorting protein 2(PACS-2). Further, there was an increase in mitochondrial Ca^(2+)([Ca^(2+)]_m) which was associated with increased apoptosis and compromised cytoplasmic maturation in oocytes from obese mice. Down-regulation of MAM-related protein IP3R1 in oocytes from obese mice decreased [Ca^(2+)]_mand apoptosis and improved cytoplasmic maturation but did not reduce the overal MAM level. However, down-regulating MAM-related protein PACS-2 in oocytes from obese mice did reduce the level of MAM and [Ca^(2+)]_m, which decreased the rate of apoptosis and improved cytoplasmic maturation of oocytes from obese mice.Conclusions: It is possible that enriched MAM could increase [Ca^(2+)]_m, and this increase has been found to be associated with increased apoptosis and compromised cytoplasmic maturation in oocytes from obese mice. 5Effects of porous clay ceramic rates on aeration porosity characteristics in a structurally degraded soil under greenhouse vegetable production显示文摘Soil structure degradation in greenhouse vegetable fields reduces vegetable production. Increasing aeration porosity is the key to ameliorating soil structure degradation. Thus, we tested the effect of a porous material, porous clay ceramic(PLC), on the amelioration of soil structure degradation under greenhouse vegetable production. A 6-month pot experiment was conducted with four PLC application levels based on volume, i.e., 0%(control), 5%(1 P), 10%(2 P), and15%(3 P) using Brassica chinensis as the test plant. At the end of the experiment, soil columns were sampled, and the aeration pore network was reconstructed using X-ray computed tomography(CT). The degree of anisotropy(DA), fractal dimension(FD), connectivity, aeration porosity, pores distribution, and shape of soil aeration pores and plant biomass were determined. The DA, FD, and connectivity did not significantly differ as the PLC application rate increased.Nonetheless, aeration porosity significantly linearly increased. The efficiency of PLC at enhancing soil aeration porosity was 0.18% per Mg ha^(-1). The increase in aeration porosity was mainly due to the increase in pores > 2 000 μm, which was characterized by irregular pores. Changes in aeration porosity enhanced the production of B. chinensis. The efficiency of PLC at increasing the plant fresh weight was 0.60%, 3.06%, and 2.12% per 1% application rate of PLC for the 1 P, 2 P, and 3 P treatments, respectively. These results indicated that PLC is a highly efficient soil amendment that improves soil structure degradation by improving soil aeration under greenhouse conditions. 10An efficient method for the sanitary vitrification of bovine oocytes in straws显示文摘Background:At present,vitrification has been widely applied to humans,mice and farm animals.To improve the efficiency of vitrification in straw,bovine oocytes were used to test a new two-step vitrification method in this study.Results:When in vitro matured oocytes were exposed to 20%ethylene glycol(EG20) for 5 min and 40%ethylene glycol(EG40) for 30 s,followed by treatment with 30%glycerol(Gly30),Gly40 or Gly50,a volume expansion was observed in Gly30 and Gly40 but not Gly50.This indicates that the intracellular osmotic pressure after a 30 s differs between EG40 and ranged between Gly40(approximately 5.6 mol/L) and Gly50(approximately 7.0 mol/L).Since oocytes are in EG40 just for only a short period of time(30 s) and at a lower temperature(4℃),we hypothesize that the main function of this step in to induce dehydration.Based on these results,we omitted the EG40 step,before oocytes were pretreated in EG20 for 5 min,exposed to pre-cooled(4℃) Gly50,for 30 s,and then dipped into liquid nitrogen.After warming,81.1%of the oocytes survived,and the surviving oocytes developed into cleavage stage embryos(63.5%) or blastocysts(20.0%) after parthenogenetic activation.Conclusions:These results demonstrate that in a two-step vitrification procedure,the permeability effect in the second step is not necessary.It is possible that the second step is only required to provide adequate osmotic pressure to condense the intracellular concentration of CPAs to a level required for successful vitrification.Yanhua Zhou Xiangwei Fu Guangbin Zhou Baoyu Jia Yi Fang Yunpeng Hou Shien Zhu 2014Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2014,5,4:0
11Effects of the TLR4 transgene on reproductive traits and DNA methylation pattern of oocytes in ewes显示文摘This study was conducted to systematically assess the reproductive performance of transgenic TLR4 ewes.In the TLR4 transgenic founders(F_(0))and their positive offspring(F_(1)),hematological and reproductive parameters and the global DNA methylation level in oocytes at various stages were analyzed.The values of the physiological and biochemical parameters determined from the blood samples did not differ significantly between the transgenic and wild-type ewes.Moreover,the transgenic ewes showed reproductive traits similar to the wildtype ewes.These traits included characteristics of puberty,the estrus cycle,estrus duration,gestation,the pregnancy rate and the superovulation response.Additionally,no significant differences were found between transgenic and wild-type ewes in the DNA methylation level of the oocytes at various stages.In summary,the preliminary evidence presented in this paper demonstrates that the presence of the TLR4 transgene did not affect the reproductive performance in sheep.Yi FANG Xiangwei FU Junjie LI Ming DU Baoyu JIA Jinlong ZHANG Xiaosheng ZHANG Shien ZHU 2014Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2014,1,4:0

13Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND 14E Protein Prokaryotic Expression of Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus显示文摘The small envelope protein (E) gene of avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) M41 strain was cloned, and then it was subcloned into prokaryotic expressing vector pGEX-6P-1. The recombinant plasmid was transformed into E.coli. BL21 and induced by IPTG. SDS-PAGE result showed that when objective protein fused with GST (about 20 ku), the relative molecular mass of fusion protein was 38 ku. It indicated that objective protein was about 12.4 ku. 16Spatial changes and driving factors of lake water quality in Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘Lakes play important roles in sustaining the ecosystem and economic development in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China,but the spatial patterns and driving mechanisms of water quality in lakes so far remain unclear.This study aimed to identify the spatial changes in water quality and the driving factors of seven lakes(Juyanhai Lake,Ulansuhai Lake,Hongjiannao Lake,Daihai Lake,Chagannaoer Lake,Hulun Lake,and Wulannuoer Lake)across the longitudinal axis(from the west to the east)of Inner Mongolia.Large-scale research was conducted using the comprehensive trophic level index(TLI(Σ)),multivariate statistics,and spatial analysis methods.The results showed that most lakes in Inner Mongolia were weakly alkaline.Total dissolved solids and salinity of lake water showed obvious zonation characteristics.Nitrogen and phosphorus were identified as the main pollutants in lakes,with high average concentrations of total nitrogen and total phosphorus being of 4.05 and 0.21 mg/L,respectively.The values of TLI(Σ)ranged from 49.14 to 71.77,indicating varying degrees of lake eutrophication,and phosphorus was the main driver of lake eutrophication.The lakes of Inner Mongolia could be categorized into lakes to the west of Daihai Lake and lakes to the east of Daihai Lake in terms of salinity and TLI(Σ).The salinity levels of lakes to the west of Daihai Lake exceeded those of lakes to the east of Daihai Lake,whereas the opposite trend was observed for lake trophic level.The intensity and mode of anthropogenic activities were the driving factors of the spatial patterns of lake water quality.It is recommended to control the impact of anthropogenic activities on the water quality of lakes in Inner Mongolia to improve lake ecological environment.These findings provide a more thorough understanding of the driving mechanism of the spatial patterns of water quality in lakes of Inner Mongolia,which can be used to develop strategies for lake ecosystem protection and water resources management in this region.REN Xiaohui YU Ruihong LIU Xinyu SUN Heyang GENG Yue QI Zhen ZHANG Zhuangzhuang LI Xiangwei WANG Jun ZHU Penghang GUO Zhiwei WANG Lixin XU Jifei 2023Journal of Arid Land2023,15,2:0
17DNA Methylation Pattern in Pronuclear-Stage Mouse Embryos:Effect of Oocyte Vitrification显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the pattern of DNA methylation in pronuclear-stage mouse embryos derived from vitrified-warmed oocytes.Mouse oocytes at metaphase II(MII) stage of meiosis were allocated randomly into three groups:1) untreated(control);2) exposed to vitrification solution without being plunged into liquid nitrogen(toxicity);and 3) vitrified by open-pulled straw(OPS) method(vitrification).Oocytes were fertilized in vitro(IVF).The level of DNA methylation was examined at 8 hpf(hours post-fertilization) by immunofluorescence using an anti-5-methylcytosine(5-MeC) monoclonal antibody and fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG.After IVF,rates of 2-cell embryos(51.39%) and blastocysts(35.82%) for vitrified-warmed oocytes were lower(P<0.01) than that for control(70.83%,47.82%) or vitrification solution treated(64.80%,46.29%) oocytes.At 8 hpf,there were more(P<0.05) pronuclear-stage oocytes in which syngamy of pronuclei had not occurred in the vitrification group.In addition,5-MeC fluorescent intensities for the female pronucleus and zygote were lower in the vitrification group(P<0.01) compared to pronuclear-stage embryos in the control and toxicity groups.In conclusion,oocyte vitrification causes a reduction in global genomic methylation in the female pronucleus and zygote,resulting in delayed fusion of pronuclei and compromising the developmental potential of mouse zygotes and embryos.Ying Liang Xiangwei Fu Junjie Li Dianshuai Yuan Shien Zhu 2011Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2011,2,4:0
18High-performance floating-gate organic phototransistors based on n-type core-expanded naphthalene diimides显示文摘In the field of organic phototransistor, achieving both broad-spectral and high photosensitivity has always been a big challenge. The innovation of device structure has previously proven to be a possible solution to this problem. Here in this study, a novel organic phototransistor based on a high mobility n-type small molecule as the conducting layer and an isolated bulk heterojunction light-absorbing layer as the floating gate has been demonstrated in this study. With the special designed device structure, the phototransistor shows extremely high sensitivity to broad spectral and weak light irradiation, and the photoresponsivity and photocurrent/dark-current ratio of the device can reach up to 4840 mA/W and 1.8×10~5 respectively.For conclusion, this study suggests a potential way to obtain high-performance phototransistors at room temperature, which will further promote the commercial application of organic phototransistors.Xianrong Gu Yang Qin Su Sun Lidan Guo Xiangwei Zhu Xiangnan Sun 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,3:0
