1Inductance calculation for 3D microsolenoids with single-layer coils显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D) single-layer microcoils have always been a key element for electromagnetic systems;but they lack an easy and accurate method to calculate the inductance value for their complex 3D micro-structures. This paper employed a curve-fitting process to obtain the associated equation for the inductance value and geometric parameters based on the simulation results. The correction factors regarding helical pitch and wire diameter were reviewed,which are used for compensation in the Nagaoka formula. The simulation process numerically simulated the performance of the 3D microcoils using a FEM electro-magnetic-coupled analysis method. Comparison of the simulated inductance value and the Nagaoka formula was undertaken,which shows that the helical pitch and wire diameter contribute a main role in the calculation error. 6Enriched endoplasmic reticulum-mitochondria interactions result in mitochondrial dysfunction and apoptosis in oocytes from obese mice显示文摘Background: Maternal obesity alters oocytes and subsequent fetal metabolism. An increasing number of studies have shown that the endoplasmic reticulums(ER) or mitochondria have important effects on oocyte quality, but there has been no study of the effect of mitochondria-associated ER membranes(MAMs) on oocyte quality. The present study was designed to assess whether the level of MAM and MAM-related proteins were different in oocytes from obese and control mice.Results: First, oocytes from mice with high-fat-diet(HFD)-induced obesity had higher levels(either greater numbers or a higher proportion for the same numbers) of MAM than oocytes from control mice. The abundance of MAM-related proteins in oocytes from obese mice was significantly greater at both the messenger RNA and protein levels, including inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor, type 1(IP3R1), inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor,type 2(IP3 R2) and phosphofurin acidic cluster sorting protein 2(PACS-2). Further, there was an increase in mitochondrial Ca^(2+)([Ca^(2+)]_m) which was associated with increased apoptosis and compromised cytoplasmic maturation in oocytes from obese mice. Down-regulation of MAM-related protein IP3R1 in oocytes from obese mice decreased [Ca^(2+)]_mand apoptosis and improved cytoplasmic maturation but did not reduce the overal MAM level. However, down-regulating MAM-related protein PACS-2 in oocytes from obese mice did reduce the level of MAM and [Ca^(2+)]_m, which decreased the rate of apoptosis and improved cytoplasmic maturation of oocytes from obese mice.Conclusions: It is possible that enriched MAM could increase [Ca^(2+)]_m, and this increase has been found to be associated with increased apoptosis and compromised cytoplasmic maturation in oocytes from obese mice. 12Multiplex ratiometric gold nanoprobes based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering enable accurate molecular detection and imaging of bladder cancer显示文摘Recently,surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)has been successfully used in the non-invasive detection of bladder tumor(BCa).The internal standard method was considered as an effective ratiometric strategy for calibrating signal fluctuation originated from the interference of measurement conditions and samples.However,it is still difficult to detect the target mRNA quantitatively using the current ratiometric SERS nanosensors.In this study,we developed an internal reference based ratiometric SERS assay.Two kinds of molecular beacons(MB)carrying Raman reporter molecules were anchored on sea-urchinlike Au nanoclusters(AuNCs).Thymidine kinase1(TK1)MBs with hexachlorofluorescein(HEX)were used to capture tumor biomarker TK1 mRNA,and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH)MBs with 5(6)-carboxyfluorescein(FAM)were used to offer internal standard signals.The internal reference GAPDH MB can reflect the consistent content of the GAPDH mRNA in single cells.The ratiometric method(I745/I645)can more accurately reflect the content of target mRNA in single cells.The ratiometric nanoprobes had excellent stability(coefficient of variation:0.3%),high sensitivity(detection limit:3.4 pM),high specificity(capable of single-base mismatch recognition)and ribozyme-resistant stability.Notably,the nanoprobes can effectively distinguish BCa cells from normal cells,and it was easy to contour the single BCa cell using the ratiometric method.By combining asymmetric polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and ratiometric nanoprobes,it was easy to distinguish the SERS ratio(I_(745)/I_(645))as low concentration as 10-14 M.Further clinical detection in urine samples from patients with BCa confirmed its potential for early noninvasive diagnosis of BCa with the sensitivity of 80%and specificity of 100%,which is superior to the current urine cytological method.Xiao Liang Pu Zhang Minghai Ma Tao Yang Xiangwei Zhao Rui Zhang Minxuan Jing Rundong Song Lei Wang Jinhai Fan 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

19Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND
