The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. In particular, its wide field monitoring capabilities will be highly instrumental to detect the electro-magnetic counterparts of gravitational wave sources. The paper provides a detailed description of:(1) the technological and technical aspects, and the expected performance of the instruments of the scientific payload;(2) the elements and functions of the mission, from the spacecraft to the ground segment. | ShuangNan Zhang Andrea Santangelo Marco Feroci YuPeng Xu FangJun Lu Yong Chen Hua Feng Shu Zhang Sφren Brandt Margarita Hernanz Luca Baldini Enrico Bozzo Riccardo Campana Alessandra De Rosa YongWei Dong Yuri Evangelista Vladimir Karas Norbert Meidinger Aline Meuris Kirpal Nandra Teng Pan Giovanni Pareschi Piotr Orleanski QiuShi Huang Stephane Schanne Giorgia Sironi Daniele Spiga Jiri Svoboda Gianpiero Tagliaferri Christoph Tenzer Andrea Vacchi Silvia Zane Dave Walton ZhanShan Wang Berend Winter Xin Wu Jean J.M.in't Zand Mahdi Ahangarianabhari Giovanni Ambrosi Filippo Ambrosino Marco Barbera Stefano Basso Jörg Bayer Ronaldo Bellazzini Pierluigi Bellutti Bruna Bertucci Giuseppe Bertuccio Giacomo Borghi XueLei Cao Franck Cadoux Francesco Ceraudo TianXiang Chen Yu Peng Chen Jerome Chevenez Marta Civitani Wei Cui WeiWei Cui Thomas Dauser Ettore Del Monte Sergio Di Cosimo Sebastian Diebold Victor Doroshenko Michal Dovciak YuanYuan Du Lorenzo Ducci QingMei Fan Yannick Favre Fabio Fuschino JoséLuis Ga'lvez Min Gao MingYu Ge Olivier Gevin Marco Grassi QuanYing Gu YuDong Gu DaWei Han Bin Hong Wei Hu Long Ji ShuMei Jia WeiChun Jiang Thomas Kennedy Ingo Kreykenbohm Irfan Kuvvetli Claudio Labanti Luca Latronico Gang Li MaoShun Li Xian Li Wei Li ZhengWei Li Olivier Limousin HongWei Liu XiaoJing Liu Bo Lu Tao Luo Daniele Macera Piero Malcovati Adrian Martindale Malgorzata Michalska Bin Meng Massimo Minuti Alfredo Morbidini Fabio Muleri Stephane Paltani Emanuele Perinati Antonino Picciotto Claudio Piemonte JinLu Qu Alexandre Rachevski Irina Rashevskaya Jerome Rodriguez Thomas Schanz ZhengXiang Shen LiZhi Sheng JiangBo Song LiMing Song Carmelo Sgro Liang Sun Ying Tan Phil Uttley Bo Wang DianLong Wang GuoFeng Wang Juan Wang LangPing Wang YuSa Wang Anna L.Watts XiangYang Wen Jörn Wilms ShaoLin Xiong JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang Nian Yu WenDa Zhang Gianluigi Zampa Nicola Zampa Andrzej A.Zdziarski AiMei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang Long Zhang Tong Zhang Yi Zhang XiaoLi Zhang ZiLiang Zhang BaoSheng Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yu Peng Zhou Nicola Zorzi J.Frans Zwart | 2019 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,2: | 11
Synthesis of tetrazole containing 1,2,3-thiadiazole derivatives via U-4CR and their anti-TMV activity显示文摘A series of novel tetrazole containing 1,2,3-thiadiazole derivatives were designed and synthesized via Ugi reaction. Their structures were confrmed by melting points, IR,1H NMR, and HRMS(ESI).Preliminary bioassay indicated that most target compounds exhibited very good direct anti-TMV activity at 100 μg/mL, which was equal to or higher than that of ribavirin. Among them, compounds 4b, 4c and 4i also showed equivalent protection effect to ribavirin in vivo at 100μg/mL. | Shou-Xin Wanga Zhen Fang Zhi-Jin Fan Dun Wang Yue-Dong Li Xiao-Tian Ji Xue-Wen Hua Yun Huang Tatiana A.Kalinina Vasiliy A.Bakulev Yury Yu.Morzherin | 2013 | Chinese Chemical Letters2013,24,10: | 3

Phase-change composite filled natural nanotubes in hydrogel promote wound healing under photothermally triggered drug release显示文摘It is of great importance to treat a bacterial-infected wound by a smart dressing capable of delivering antibiotics in a smart manner without causing drug resistance. The construction of smart release nanocontainers responsive to near-infrared(NIR)laser irradiation in an on-demand and stepwise way is a promising strategy for avoiding the emergence of multidrug-resistant bacteria. Here,we develop a hydrogel composite made of alginate and nanotubes with an efficient NIR-triggered release of rifampicin and outstanding antibacterial ability. This composite hydrogel is prepared through co-encapsulating antibacterial drug(rifampicin),NIR-absorbing dye(indocyanine green),and phase-change materials(a eutectic mixture of fatty acids)into halloysite nanotubes, followed by incorporation into alginate hydrogels, allowing the in-situ gelation at room temperature and maintaining the integrity of drug-loaded nanotubes.Among them, the eutectic mixture with a melting point of 39℃ serves as the biocompatible phase-change material to facilitate the NIR-triggered drug release. The resultant phase-change material gated-nanotubes exhibit a prominent photothermal efficiency with multistep drug release under laser irradiation. In an in vitro assay, composite hydrogel provides good antibacterial potency against Staphylococcus aureus, one of the most prevalent microorganisms of dangerous gas gangrene.A bacterial-infected rat full-thickness wound model demonstrates that the NIR-responsive composite hydrogel inhibits the bacteria colonization and suppresses the inflammatory response caused by bacteria, promoting angiogenesis and collagen deposition to accelerate wound regeneration. The NIR-responsive composite hydrogel has a great po-tential as an antibacterial wound dressing functionalized with controlled multistep treatment of the infected sites. | Jing-Jing Ye Long-Fei Li Rui-Nan Hao Min Gong Tong Wang Jian Song Qing-Han Meng Na-Na Zhao Fu-Jian Xu Yuri Lvov Li-Qun Zhang Jia-Jia Xue | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,3: | 2

Doped GaSe crystals for laser frequency conversion显示文摘In this review,we introduce the current state of the art of the growth technology of pure, lightly doped, and heavily doped(solid solution)nonlinear gallium selenide(GaSe)crystals that are able to generate broadband emission from the near infrared(IR)(0.8 mm)through the mid-and far-IR(terahertz(THz))ranges and further into the millimeter wave(5.64 mm)range. For the first time,we show that appropriate doping is an efficient method controlling a range of the physical properties of GaSe crystals that are responsible for frequency conversion efficiency and exploitation parameters. After appropriate doping, uniform crystals grown by a modified technology with heat field rotation possess up to 3 times lower absorption coefficient in the main transparency window and THz range. Moreover, doping provides the following benefits:raises by up to 5 times the optical damage threshold;almost eliminates two-photon absorption;allows for dispersion control in the THz range independent of the mid-IR dispersion;and enables crystal processing in arbitrary directions due to the strengthened lattice. Finally, doped GaSe demonstrated better usefulness for processing compared with GaSe grown by the conventional technology and up to 15 times higher frequency conversion efficiency. | Jin Guo Ji-Jiang Xie Dian-Jun Li Gui-Long Yang Fei Chen Chun-Rui Wang Lai-Ming Zhang Yury M Andreev Konstantin A Kokh Gregory V Lanskii Valery A Svetlichnyi | 2015 | Light(Science & Applications)2015,4,1: | 1
Regulation of dipeptidyl peptidase 8 and 9 expression in activated lymphocytes and injured liver显示文摘AIM:To investigate the expression of dipeptidyl peptidase(DPP) 8 and DPP9 in lymphocytes and various models of liver fibrosis.METHODS:DPP8 and DPP9 expression were measured in mouse splenic CD4 + T-cells,CD8 + T-cells and B-cells(B220 +),human lymphoma cell lines and mouse splenocytes stimulated with pokeweed mitogen(PWM) or lipopolysaccharide(LPS),and in dithiothreitol(DTT) and mitomycin-C treated Raji cells.DPP8 and DPP9 expression were measured in epidermal growth factor(EGF) treated Huh7 hepatoma cells,in fibrotic liver samples from mice treated with carbon tetrachloride(CCl 4) and from multidrug resistance gene 2(Mdr2 /Abcb4) gene knockout(gko) mice with biliary fibrosis, and in human end stage primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC).RESULTS:All three lymphocyte subsets expressed DPP8 and DPP9 mRNA.DPP8 and DPP9 expression were upregulated in both PWM and LPS stimulated mouse splenocytes and in both Jurkat T-and Raji B-cell lines.DPP8 and DPP9 were downregulated in DTT treated and upregulated in mitomycin-C treated Raji cells.DPP9transfected Raji cells exhibited more annexin V + cells and associated apoptosis.DPP8 and DPP9 mRNA were upregulated in CCl 4 induced fibrotic livers but not in the lymphocytes isolated from such livers, while DPP9 was upregulated in EGF stimulated Huh7 cells. In contrast, intrahepatic DPP8 and DPP9 mRNA expression levels were low in the Mdr2 gko mouse and in human PBC compared to non-diseased livers.CONCLUSION:These expression patterns point to biological roles for DPP8 and DPP9 in lymphocyte activation and apoptosis and in hepatocytes during liver disease pathogenesis. | Sumaiya Chowdhury Yiqian Chen Tsun-Wen Yao Katerina Ajami Xin M Wang Yury Popov Detlef Schuppan Patrick Bertolino Geoffrey W McCaughan Denise MT Yu Mark D Gorrell | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,19: | 1

Efficient ultrafast laser writing with elliptical polarization显示文摘Photosensitivity in nature is commonly associated with stronger light absorption. It is also believed that artificial optical anisotropy to be the strongest when created by light with linear polarization.Contrary to intuition, ultrafast laser direct writing with elliptical polarization in silica glass, while nonlinear absorption is about 2.5 times weaker, results in form birefringence about twice that of linearly polarized light. Moreover,a larger concentration of anisotropic nanopores created by elliptically polarized light pulses is observed. The phenomenon is interpreted in terms of enhanced interaction of circularly polarized light with a network of randomly oriented bonds and hole polarons in silica glass,as well as efficient tunneling ionization produced by circular polarization.Applications to multiplexed optical data storage and birefringence patterning in silica glass are demonstrated. | Yuhao Lei Gholamreza Shayeganrad Huijun Wang Masaaki Sakakura Yanhao Yu Lei Wang Dmitrii Kliukin Linards Skuja Yuri Svirko Peter G.Kazansky | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,4: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. In order to improve the performance of the IMS experiments and to provide a reliable tool fordesigning and preparing the future experiments, a simulation code, named SimCSR is developed.Presently, six-dimension phase-space linear transmission theory is applied to simulate the transmission of ionsin the experimental storage ring (CSRe). The basic algorithm is Bf = MBi. The Bi and Bf are six-dimensionphase-space vectors of ions at the entrance and exit of each element of the CSRe lattice, respectively. M is a6-by-6-dimension first-order transfer matrix of each element. M is calculated using formulas described in Ref.[1]. Inthe simulations, the ring lattice is considered in detail, and the same magnetic setting as in our previous experimentwith 58Ni projectile fragments[2] is considered. The ions are assumed to circulate 300 turns inside the CSRe. | Chen Ruijiu Yuan Youjin Wang Meng Xu Xing Shuai Peng Zhang Yuhu Yan Xinliang Xing Yuanming Xu Hushan Zhou Xiaohong Litvinov Yuri Litvinov Sergy Chen Xiangcheng Fu Chaoyi Ge Wenwen Ge Zhuang Hu Xuejing Huang Wenjia Liu Dawei Zeng Qi Zhang Wei | 2014 | IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2014,,1: | 0
Amphotericin B release rate is the link between drug status in the liposomal bilayer and toxicity显示文摘Amphotericin B(AmB)is an amphiphilic drug commonly formulated in liposomes and administered intravenously to treat systemic fungal infections.Recent studies on the liposomal drug product have shed light on the AmB aggregation status in the bilayer, which heat treatment(curing)modifies.Although toxicity was found related to aggregation status-loose aggregates significantly more toxic than tight aggregates-the precise mechanism linking aggregation and toxicitywas notwell understood. This study directlymeasured drug release rate fromvarious AmB liposomal preparations made with modified curing protocols to evaluate correlations among drug aggregation state, drug release, and in vitro toxicity.UV–Vis spectroscopy of these products detected unique curing-induced changes in the UV spectral features:a∼25nm blue-shift of the main absorption peak(λ_(max))in aqueous buffer and a decrease in the OD_(346)/OD_(322) ratio upon thermal curing, reflecting tighter aggregation. In vitro release testing(IVRT)data showed,by applying and fitting first-order release kinetic models for one or two pools, that curing impacts two significant changes:a 3–5-fold drop in the overall drug release rate and a ten-fold decrease in the ratio between the loosely aggregated and the tightly aggregated, more thermodynamically stable drug pool. The kinetic data thus corroborated the trend independently deduced from the UV–Vis spectral data. The in vitro toxicity assay indicated a decreased toxicity with curing,as shown by the significantly increased concentration, causing half-maximal potassium release(TC50).The data suggest that the release of AmB requires dissociation of the tight complexes within the bilayer and that the reduced toxicity relates to this slower rate of dissociation. This study demonstrates the relationship between AmB aggregation status within the lipid bilayer and drug release(directly measured rate constants),providing a mechanistic link between aggregation status and in vitro toxicity in the liposomal formulations. | Yuri Svirkin Jaeweon Lee Richard Marx Seongkyu Yoon Nelson Landrau Md Abul Kaisar Bin Qin Jin H.Park Khondoker Alam Darby Kozak Yan Wang Xiaoming Xu Jiwen Zheng Benjamin Rivnay | 2022 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,4: | 0
