| 1 | Wasserstein GAN-Based Small-Sample Augmentation for New-Generation Artificial Intelligence: A Case Study of Cancer-Staging Data in Biology显示文摘It is essential to utilize deep-learning algorithms based on big data for the implementation of the new generation of artificial intelligence. Effective utilization of deep learning relies considerably on the number of labeled samples, which restricts the application of deep learning in an environment with a small sample size. In this paper, we propose an approach based on a generative adversarial network (GAN) combined with a deep neural network (DNN). First, the original samples were divided into a training set and a test set. The GAN was trained with the training set to generate synthetic sample data, which enlarged the training set. Next, the DNN classifier was trained with the synthetic samples. Finally, the classifier was tested with the test set, and the effectiveness of the approach for multi-classification with a small sample size was validated by the indicators. As an empirical case, the approach was then applied to identify the stages of cancers with a small labeled sample size. The experimental results verified that the proposed approach achieved a greater accuracy than traditional methods. This research was an attempt to transform the classical statistical machine-learning classification method based on original samples into a deep-learning classification method based on data augmentation. The use of this approach will contribute to an expansion of application scenarios for the new generation of artificial intelligence based on deep learning, and to an increase in application effectiveness. | 5 | Geological and geochemical characteristics and metallogenic model of the Wenquan molybdenum deposit显示文摘The Wenquan molybdenum deposit is a kind of large-sized porphyry molybdenum deposit found in re-cent years.In this paper,on the basis of deposit geology,geochemistry and isotope geochronology data,the metal-logenic model of this deposit was established.The Wenquan granitic batholith belongs to the K-rich(alkali-rich) calc-alkaline rock series,which is the mineralization parent rock.The rock massif shows the characteristics of both crust-remelting granite and mantle-source granite.At the same time,the data of REE contents,hydrogen and oxygen isotopes and inclusion temperatures showed that the metallogenic hydrothermal solution is a mixed mesothermal solution of magmato-hydrothermal fluid and meteoric water.Mineralization was dated at 214±7.1 Ma,basically identical with the parent rock's age(207-226 Ma).This reflects that molybdenum mineralization has a close relation to tectonic magmatism evoked by orogenic processes,and molybdenum mineralization occurred mainly at the petrogenesis stage at the late stage of magma emplacement.Mixing with meteoric water led to a decrease in the sa-linity of magmato-hydrothermal solution and changes in other physical and chemical properties.During the tectonic process,ore-bearing hydrothermal solution ascended along favorable fault structure channels.With physicochemical changes,it filled in the surrounding rock joints on both sides of faults,forming ore deposits. | WU Zicheng LIU Jishun HAN Haitao DONG Xin OUYANG Yufei | 2011 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,3: | 4 |
| 6 | IL1RN promotes osteoblastic differentiation via interacting with ITGB3 in osteoporosis显示文摘The occurrence and progress of osteoporosis(OP)are partially caused by impaired osteoblast differentiation.Interleukin-I receptor antagonist(IL1RN)is an immune modulatory molecule that commonly functions by means of competing the binding site of IL-1R with IL-1.Although it was recently reported that IL1RN is involved in osteoblast differentiation,the role of IL1RN in osteogenesis remains unclear.In this work,we first investigated the expression pattern of IL1RN in ovariectomy mice and in vitro osteogenic induction of MC3T3-E1 and C3H10T1/2 cells.To verify the exact role of IL1RN in osteoblast differentiation,we established IL1RN-downregulated/upregulated cell lines.The results indicated that IL1RN was constantly expressed in MC3T3-E1 and C3H10T1/2 cells.Interestingly,an increase of IL1RN expression in osteoblasts occurred when osteoblasts were cultured in osteogenic medium(OM).As expected,silencing of IL1RN attenuated the osteogenic effect of OM,while IL1RN overexpression increased the osteogenic staining and promoted the expression of osteogenic markers,including alkaline phosphatase,osterix,and osteocalcin.In addition to evaluating the function of IL1RN in osteoblasts,we also investigated the molecular mechanism of the role of IL1RN in osteoblasts.We found that IL1RN interacts with integrinβ3 to activateβ-catenin signaling,which finally regulates osteoblast differentiation.Taken together,this study provides the framework that IL1RN,as a novel regulator of osteogenesis,may be a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of OP. | Zehua Zou Ruixuan Liu Yiwen Wang Yufei Xing Zuowei Shi Kaifu Wang Daming Dong | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,3: | 3 |

Herein, we report a new kind of 2D porphyrinic metal-organic framework nanosheets of Rh2-PCN-222, which was prepared from the self-assembly of the metalloporphyrin ligand Rh(TCPP)(DCB)(TCPP = 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxycarbonylphenyl)porphyrin;DCB = 3,4-dichlorobenzene) and ZrCl_(4) in the presence of two kinds of monocarboxylic acids as the modulating reagent. The thickness of Rh2-PCN-222 nanosheets was characterized by atomic force microscopy(AFM)and determined to be 5.4-9.6 nm. It was found that the axial aryl dichlorophenyl substituent, which controlled the anisotropic growth of MOFs, was essential for the formation of nanosheets. sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.
