2Effect of molybdenum content on the microstructure and corrosion behavior of FeCoCrNiMox high-entropy alloys显示文摘The effect of Mo content on the microstructure revolution and corrosion behavior of cast FeCoCrNiMox high-entropy alloys in chloride environments were investigated.Results indicate that FeCoCrNi and FeCoCrNiMo0.1 alloys are in single FCC solid solution.The precipitates form in FeCoCrNiMo0.3 and increase in FeCoCrNiMo0.6 alloys.Pitting occurs on FeCoCrNi and FeCoCrNiMo0.1 alloys while FeCoCrNiMo0.3 and FeCoCrNiMo0.6 alloys suffer from preferential localized corrosion at the regions depleted in Cr and Mo.The higher Cr2O3/Cr(OH)3 ratio and the incorporation of Mo oxides make the passive film more protective and the corrosion resistance of the FeCoCrNiMo0.1 alloy is thus enhanced.The correlation between microstructure and corrosion behavior and the corresponding corrosion mechanism were clarified.Chunduo Dai Tianliang Zhao Cuiwei Du Zhiyong Liu Dawei Zhang 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,11:13
3Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 4The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 5Field corrosion characterization of soil corrosion of X70 pipeline steel in a red clay soil显示文摘The corrosion behavior of X70 pipeline steel buried in red soil environment has been studied. The surface morphology and elemental distribution were determined by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS), and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The corrosion kinetics was evaluated by weight loss measurement. The results show that in red soil, the corrosion rate of X70 steel decreases with time, and follows the exponential decay law. General corrosion with non-uniform and localized pitting occurred on the steel surface. α-Fe OOH was the dominate products during corrosion in whole buried periods, and the corrosion products exhibited well protective properties. The potentiodynamic polarization tests revealed that icorrdecreased with time, indicating the improvement of corrosion resistance. 6Solvent-Free Synthesis of Ultrafine Tungsten Carbide Nanoparticles-Decorated Carbon Nanosheets for Microwave Absorption显示文摘Carbides/carbon composites are emerging as a new kind of binary dielectric systems with good microwave absorption performance.Herein,we obtain a series of tungsten carbide/carbon composites through a simple solvent-free strategy,where the solid mixture of dicyandiamide(DCA)and ammonium metatungstate(AM)is employed as the precursor.Ultrafine cubic WC1-x nanoparticles(3-4 nm)are in situ generated and uniformly dispersed on carbon nanosheets.This configuration overcomes some disadvantages of conventional carbides/carbon composites and is greatly helpful for electromagnetic dissipation.It is found that the weight ratio of DCA to AM can regulate chemical composition of these composites,while less impact on the average size of WC1-x nanoparticles.With the increase in carbon nanosheets,the relative complex permittivity and dielectric loss ability are constantly enhanced through conductive loss and polarization relaxation.The different dielectric properties endow these composites with distinguishable attenuation ability and impedance matching.When DCA/AM weight ratio is 6.0,the optimized composite can produce good microwave absorption performance,whose strongest reflection loss intensity reaches up to-55.6 dB at 17.5 GHz and qualified absorption bandwidth covers 3.6-18.0 GHz by manipulating the thickness from 1.0 to 5.0 mm.Such a performance is superior to many conventional carbides/carbon composites.Yunlong Lian Binhua Han Dawei Liu Yahui Wang Honghong Zhao Ping Xu Xijiang Han Yunchen Du 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,11:7
7Bionic Quadruped Robot Dynamic Gait Control Strategy Based on Twenty Degrees of Freedom显示文摘Quadruped robot dynamic gaits have much more advantages than static gaits on speed and efficiency, however high speed and efficiency calls for more complex mechanical structure and complicated control algorithm. It becomes even more challenging when the robot has more degrees of freedom.As a result, most of the present researches focused on simple robot, while the researches on dynamic gaits for complex robot with more degrees of freedom are relatively limited. The paper is focusing on the dynamic gaits control for complex robot with twenty degrees of freedom for the first time. Firstly, we build a relatively complete 3 D model for quadruped robot based on spring loaded inverted pendulum(SLIP) model, analyze the inverse kinematics of the model, plan the trajectory of the swing foot and analyze the hydraulic drive. Secondly, we promote the control algorithm of one-legged to the quadruped robot based on the virtual leg and plan the state variables of pace gait and bound gait. 8Provenance of Lower Carboniferous Bauxite Deposits in Northern Guizhou,China:Constraints from Geochemistry and Detrital Zircon U-Pb Ages显示文摘The Lower Carboniferous Jiujialu Formation bauxite deposits of northern Guizhou Province,China,are a Kazakhstan subtype of karst bauxite deposits.The provenance of the Jiujialu Formation has long been debated,with uncertainty about the formation of the bauxite deposits.Here we report new geochemical data that indicate the affinity between the Lower-Middle Ordovician clastic rocks and argillaceous dolostones and the overlying Carboniferous bauxite deposits,all of which are characterized by high Al_(2)0_(3),K2_(O),and∑REE contents,flat post-Archean Australian shale(PAAS)-normalized REE patterns,and uniform immobile element ratios(TiO2/Al_(2)0_(3),Nb/TiO2,and Zr/TiO2).Their similar detrital zircon age distributions further indicate the link between the bauxite deposits and the clastic rocks and argillaceous dolostones.Zircon age spectra of clastic rocks of the Lower Silurian Hanchiatien Formation in northern Guizhou match those of the bauxite deposits,with a maximum age peak at-980 Ma and other secondary age peaks,suggesting these clastic rocks may represent the provenance of the bauxite deposits.The youngest detrital zircons(-445 Ma)occur only in the bauxite deposits and are probably sourced from K-bentonite beds of the Ordovician-Silurian tran-sition.Our analyses indicate that the source materials of the bauxite deposits in the Jiujialu Formation are of mixed provenance:Lower-Middle Ordovician aluminosilicate rocks and argillaceous dolostones of the underlying strata,and Lower Silurian clastic rocks and K-bentonite from adjacent areas.A comparison of Early Carboniferous bauxitic provenances in northern and central Guizhou indicates that paleotopography was the major factor controlling the provenance of these bauxite deposits.Guolin Xiong Wenchao Yu Yuansheng Du Shenfu Weng Dawei Pang Xusheng Deng Jintao Zhou 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,1:3
9A cabazitaxel liposome for increased solubility, enhanced antitumor effect and reduced systemic toxicity显示文摘The potential side effects of cabazitaxel(CBZ)in the field of cancer treatment have become a great limitation to its further clinical application.Liposomal delivery is a well-established approach to increase the therapeutic index of hydrophobic drugs.In this study,a PEGmodified liposome was developed for efficiently encapsulating CBZ,thus enhancing its specific tumor inhibition effect and reducing the systemic toxicity.It was found that the loading efficiency of CBZ into the liposome could be improved with the increase of lipophilic materials,as it could be over 80%under the weight ratio of 20:1(total lipid:CBZ).The diameter of CBZ loaded liposome(CBZ@Lipo)was^100 nm.And the liposome suspending in aqueous medium was stable at 4°C for at least one month,according to the change of its size distribution.The killing ability of CBZ@Lipo to cancer cells was significantly lower comparing to that of CBZ solution,which could be attributed to the slow release of CBZ from the liposomes.However,CBZ@Lipo could induce an obvious apoptosis of the cancer cells at low concentration.Furthermore,CBZ@Lipo exhibited an expressively enhanced tumor growth inhibition effect comparing to CBZ solution.More importantly,CBZ@Lipo showed an obviously higher biosafety proved by lower hemolysis probability,stable body weight of mice during the whole experiment and no obvious lesion in histology analysis.Our work provided a useful reference of the formulation of CBZ,which had potential for greater clinical application.Xiaoyi Yin Lihua Luo Wei Li Jie Yang Chunqi Zhu Mengshi Jiang Bing qin Xiaoling Yuan Hang Yin Yichao Lu Yongzhong Du Dawei Chen Jian You 2019Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,6:3
10Microbiologically influenced corrosion of 304 stainless steel by halophilic archaea Natronorubrum tibetense显示文摘The corrosion behavior of 304 stainless steel(SS)in the presence of aerobic halophilic archaea Natronorubrum tibetense was investigated.After 14 days of immersion,no obvious pitting pit was observed on the SS surface in the sterile medium.By contrast,the SS exhibited serious pitting corrosion with the largest pit depth of 5.0μm in the inoculated medium after 14 days.The results of electrochemical tests showed that the barrier property of the passive film decreased faster in the inoculated medium.The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results indicated that the detrimental Fe2+and Cr6+increased in the passive film under the influence of archaea N.tibetense,which resulted in the accelerated deterioration of passive film and promoted the pitting corrosion.Combined with the energy starvation tests,the microbiologically influenced corrosion mechanism of 304 SS caused by halophilic archaea N.tibetense was discussed finally.Hongchang Qian Lingwei Ma Dawei Zhang Ziyu Li Luyao Huang Yuntian Lou Cuiwei Du 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,11:3
11Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 12Pulse-width-induced polarization enhancement of optically pumped N-V electron spin in diamond显示文摘The nitrogen-vacancy(N-V)center in diamond is a widely used platform for quantum information processing and sensing.The electron-spin state of the N-V center could be initialized,read out optically,and manipulated by resonate microwave fields.In this work,we analyze the dependence of electron-spin initialization on widths of laser pulses.We build a numerical model to simulate this process and to verify the simulation results in experiments.Both simulations and experiments reveal that shorter laser pulses are helpful to the electron-spin polarization.We therefore propose to use extremely short laser pulses for electron-spin initialization.In this new scheme,the spin-state contrast could be improved about 10%in experiments by using laser pulses as short as 4 ns in width.Furthermore,we provide a mechanism to explain this effect,which is due to the occupation time in the meta-stable spin-singlet states of the N-V center.Our new scheme is applicable in a broad range of N-V-based applications in the future.YUMENG SONG YU TIAN ZHIYI HU FEIFEI ZHOU TENGTENG XING DAWEI LU BING CHEN YA WANG NANYANG XU JIANGFENG DU 2020Photonics Research2020,8,8:1

15Polymer-bubbling for one-step synthesis of three-dimensional cobalt/carbon foams against electromagnetic pollution显示文摘Constructing three-dimensional(3D)foam-like structure in magnetic metal/carbon composites is regarded as a promising pathway to reinforce their electromagnetic(EM)functions.Herein,a nitrateassisted polymer-bubbling strategy is reported for the synthesis of Co/carbon foams,which is simply accomplished by direct pyrolyzing the mixture of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)and cobalt nitrate hexahydrate(Co(NO_(3))_(2)·6 H_(2) O).Co(NO_(3))_(2)·6H_(2)O not only plays as the source of Co nanoparticles,but also accounts for the formation of 3D microstructure through releasing gas.By manipulating the weight ratio of Co(NO_(3))_(2)·6H_(2)O to PVP,the chemical composition,microstructure,and EM properties of these composites can be easily regulated.When the weight ratio reaches 1.5,the resultant composite displays good microwave absorption performance,whose reflection loss intensity and effective absorption bandwidth are superior to those of many common Co/C composites.EM analysis reveals that such architecture is greatly helpful to establish cross-linked conductive networks in the wax matrix,resulting in powerful dielectric loss under low absorber loading.Meanwhile,3D microstructure is also beneficial for multiple reflections that equal to extend the transmission path of incident EM waves.Simple synthesis strategy and desirable properties of these magnetic carbon foams may render them as the low-cost substitute of 3D graphene for the application against EM pollution.Fengyuan Wang Ping Xu Ning Shi Liru Cui Yahui Wang Dawei Liu Honghong Zhao Xijiang Han Yunchen Du 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,34:1
