| 3 | Gradient based restoration of coal mine images obtained by underground wireless transmissions显示文摘Curvature-driven diffusion (CDD) principles were used to develop a novel gradient based image restora- tion algorithm. The algorithm fills in blocks of missing data in a wireless image after transmission through the network. When images are transmitted over fading channels, especially in the severe circum- stances of a coal mine, blocks of the image may be destroyed by the effects of noise. Instead of using com- mon retransmission query protocols the lost data is reconstructed by using the adaptive curvature-driven diffusion (ACDD) image restoration algorithm in the gradient domain of the destroyed image. Missing blocks are restored by the method in two steps: In step one, the missing blocks are filled in the gradient domain by the ACDD algorithm; in step two, and the image is reconstructed from the reformed gradients by solving a Poisson equation. The proposed method eliminates the staircase effect and accelerates the convergence rate. | 5 | Low-loading gold in situ doped with sulfur by biomolecule-assisted approach for promoted electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction显示文摘For electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction(CO_(2)RR),CO_(2)-to-CO conversion is considered an ideal route towards carbon neutrality for practical applications.Gold(Au)is known as a promising catalyst with high selectivity for CO;however,it suffers from high cost and low mass-specific activity.In this study,we design and prepare a catalyst featuring uniform S-doped Au nanoparticles on N-doped carbon support(denoted as S-Au/NC)by an in situ synthesis strategy using biomolecules.The S-Au/NC displays high activity and selectivity for CO in CO_(2)RR with a Au loading as low as 0.4 wt.%.The Faradaic efficiency of CO(FECO)for S-Au/NC is above 95%at−0.75 V(vs.RHE);by contrast,the FECO of Au/NC(without S)is only 58%.The Tafel slope is 77.4 mV·dec−1,revealing a favorable kinetics process.Furthermore,S-Au/NC exhibits an excellent long-term stability for CO_(2)RR.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the S dopant can boost the activity by reducing the free energy change of the potential-limiting step(formation of the*COOH intermediate).This work not only demonstrates a model catalyst featuring significantly reduced use of noble metals,but also establishes an in situ synthesis strategy for preparing high-performance catalysts. | Meijie Tan Xiaoqian Han Sen Ru Chao Zhang Zhouru Ji Zhaolin Shi Guomeng Qiao Yunying Wang Ruixue Cui Qiquan Luo Jiqing Jiao Yaguang Li Tongbu Lu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 1 |

| 8 | An efficient algorithm for detecting particle contact in non-uniform size particulate system显示文摘Algorithms for detecting particle collision play an important role in the discrete element method (DEM) for the simulation of granular flow systems since the time taken to detect the contact pairs usually occupies a considerable proportion of the total CPU time for the simulation. In this study, we developed a new octree algorithm called multi-octree algorithm, for detecting candidate contact pairs. The so-called multioctree algorithm adopts the topology of octree for detecting possible contacts, in which the particles are managed by hierarchical classification according to particle size and then mapped to different level nodes of an octree, instead of mapping all particles into the leaf nodes of an octree in Vemuri-octree algorithm. The present algorithm speeds up the detecting process by reducing the number of candidate particles for possible contacts. A non-uniform size particulate system with three particle sizes was simulated by the multi-octree and the Vemuri-octree algorithms simultaneously. | 12 | An in-situ generated composite solid-state electrolyte towards high-voltage lithium metal batteries显示文摘The solid-state electrolyte(SSE) has promising applications in next-generation lithium(Li) metal batteries(LMBs) because of its significantly enhanced safety and more compatible interface characteristics than flammable traditional liquid electrolytes.However,only a few attempts have achieved high-performance high-voltage LMBs,which is attributed to the fact that both high ionic conductivity and good compatibility with electrodes can hardly be achieved simultaneously.Herein,a composite solid-state electrolyte(CSE) based on star-shaped siloxane-based polymer electrolyte coupled with Li_(6.75)La_(3)Zr_(1.75)Ta_(0.25)O_(12)(LLZTO)ceramic fillers is designed and prepared through a facile in-situ polymerization method.The obtained CSE exhibits high ionic conductivity(i.e.,1.68 × 10^(-4) S cm^(-1) at a temperature of 60 ℃),superior anodic stability,and high Li-ion transference number(i.e.,0.53) because of the multifunctional synergistic effect of the polymer electrolyte with LLZTO ceramic fillers.Moreover,the as-developed CSE shows excellent compatibility with Li anodes.As a result,the as-developed CSE enables the development of long-life 4.4-V-class solid-state LMBs with a Li CoO_(2) cathode,with 79.7% capacity retention and 99.74% average Coulombic efficiency after 500 cycles at a 0.5 C rate.Postmortem analysis of cycled batteries confirms that such superior battery performance can be mainly ascribed to the formation of a compatible electrode/electrolyte interface.Furthermore,excellent safety features can be observed in LiCoO_(2)/Li pouch batteries.This work provides an important guide for the rational design of SSEs for high-voltage LMBs. | Qinglei Wang Tiantian Dong Qian Zhou Zili Cui Xuehui Shangguan Chenglong Lu Zhaolin Lv Kai Chen Lang Huang Huanrui Zhang Guanglei Cui | 2022 | Science China Chemistry2022,65,5: | 0 |
| 13 | An effector of Erysiphe necator translocates to chloroplasts and plasma membrane to suppress host immunity in grapevine显示文摘The powdery mildew(Erysiphe necator)is a prevalent pathogen hampering grapevine growth in the vineyard.An arsenal of candidate secreted effector proteins(CSEPs)was encoded in the E.necator genome,but it is largely unclear what role CSEPs plays during the E.necator infection.In the present study,we identified a secreted effector CSEP080 of E.necator,which was located in plant chloroplasts and plasma membrane.Transient expressing CSEP080 promotes plant photosynthesis and inhibits INF1-induced cell death in tobacco leaves.We found that CSEP080 was a necessary effector for the E.necator pathogenicity,which interacted with grapevine chloroplast protein VviB6f(cytochrome b6-f complex iron–sulfur subunit),affecting plant photosynthesis.Transient silencing VviB6f increased the plant hydrogen peroxide production,and the plant resistance to powdery mildew.In addition,CSEP080 manipulated the VviPE(pectinesterase)to promote pectin degradation.Our results demonstrated the molecular mechanisms that an effector of E.necator translocates to host chloroplasts and plasma membrane,which suppresses with the grapevine immunity system by targeting the chloroplast protein VviB6f to suppress hydrogen peroxide accumulation and manipulating VviPE to promote pectin degradation. | Bo Mu Zhaolin Teng Ruixin Tang Mengjiao Lu Jinfu Chen Xiangnan Xu Ying-Qiang Wen | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,9: | 0 |

| 15 | Progress at NTSC towards an optical lattice for a strontium clock显示文摘We report on studies of an optical lattice for a strontium clock performed at the National Time Service Center. Follow-ing tw o-stage laser cooling and trapping,88 Sr cold atoms w ith population of 105 and a longitudinal temperature of 8. 4 μK are loaded into a one-dimensional optical lattice. Spectroscopic analysis of the1S0-3P0 transition gives a linew idth of 180 Hz measured using magnetic field-induction,w hich mixes the3P1 state w ith the3P0 state. Rabi oscillations are observed. Because of the inhomogeneous excitation among the atoms,the Rabi π-pulse excitation at 5 ms show s a near 65% excitation of atoms. The transverse velocity distribution of the atomic beam and the absolute frequencies of the four inter-combination transitions of the isotopes w as measured precisely using velocity-selective fluorescence spectroscopy. By optical injection of tw o cascade external-cavity diode lasers,a single comb line at 689 nm from an optical femtosecond laser comb is filtered and amplified w ith a 37-d B side-mode suppression and a linew idth of less than 240 Hz. We describe recent w ork on a space optical clock concerning the physical vacuum system,thermal analysis,and a permanent-magnet Zeeman slow er for a space strontium optical clock. The first six mode frequencies are obtained and the corresponding oscillation modes are described in detail. We also simulate and analyze thermal profiles for both the physical and optical units installed in the cooling system. When the injected cooling w ater has a temperature of 21℃ or28℃,the units meet operational requirements for temperatures in a space environment. | 16 | An image segmentation method of pulverized coal for particle size analysis显示文摘An important index to evaluate the process efficiency of coal preparation is the mineral liberation degree of pulverized coal,which is greatly influenced by the particle size and shape distribution acquired by image segmentation.However,the agglomeration effect of fine powders and the edge effect of granular images caused by scanning electron microscopy greatly affect the precision of particle image segmentation.In this study,we propose a novel image segmentation method derived from mask regional convolutional neural network based on deep learning for recognizing fine coal powders.Firstly,an atrous convolution is introduced into our network to learn the image feature of multi-sized powders,which can reduce the missing segmentation of small-sized agglomerated particles.Then,a new mask loss function combing focal loss and dice coefficient is used to overcome the false segmentation caused by the edge effect.The final comparative experimental results show that our method achieves the best results of 94.43%and 91.44%on AP50 and AP75 respectively among the comparison algorithms.In addition,in order to provide an effective method for particle size analysis of coal particles,we study the particle size distribution of coal powders based on the proposed image segmentation method and obtain a good curve relationship between cumulative mass fraction and particle size. | Xin Li Shiyin Li Liang Dong Shuxian Su Xiaojuan Hu Zhaolin Lu | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,9: | 0 |
