Research on Formation Mechanisms of Hot Dry Rock Resources in China显示文摘As an important geothermal resource, hot dry rock(HDR) reserves have been studied in many countries. HDR resources in China have huge capacity and have become one of the most important resources for the potential replacement of fossil fuels. However, HDR resources are difficult to develop and utilise. Technologies for use with HDR, such as high–temperature drilling, reservoir characterisation, reservoir fracturing, microseismic monitoring and high–temperature power stations, originate from the field of oil and drilling. Addressing how to take advantage of these developed technologies is a key factor in the development of HDR reserves. Based on the thermal crustal structure in China, HDR resources can be divided into four types: high radioactive heat production, sedimentary basin, modern volcano and the inner–plate active tectonic belt. The prospective regions of HDR resources are located in South Tibet, West Yunnan, the southeast coast of China, Bohai Rim, Songliao Basin and Guanzhong Basin. The related essential technologies are relatively mature, and the prospect of HDR power generation is promising. Therefore, analysing the formation mechanisms of HDR resources and promoting the transformation of technological achievements, large–scale development and the utilisation of HDR resources can be achieved in China. | WANG Guiling LIN Wenjing ZHANG Wei LU Chuan MA Feng GAN Haonan | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,4: | 14
Hydrothermal Systems Characterized by Crustal Thermally-dominated Structures of Southeastern China显示文摘Southeastern China(SE China)is located in the Pacific tectonic domain and has experienced a series of tectono-magmatic events induced by the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate since the late Mesozoic. The subduction formed a series of NE-NNE oriented faults under a NW-SE regional stress field, along which a number of thermal springs occur.Previous studies have focused on the genesis mechanism of specific geothermal fields in SE China, but the general characteristics of hydrothermal systems in SE China remains unclear. In this study,we investigate the correlation between geothermal activity, hydrochemical type and regional faults by studying the distribution of hydrothermal activity and geochemical properties of typical hydrothermal systems in SE China. The hydrothermal systems in SE China have a crustal thermally-dominated structural origin unique to the specific geological and tectonic conditions of the Eurasian Plate margin. The upwelling of the asthenosphere and the widespread granitoids with high radiogenic heat production in SE China provide major heat sources for regional geothermal anomalies. The NE-oriented crustal thermally-dominated faults are critical for the formation of geothermal anomalies and NW-oriented extensional faults have created favorable conditions for meteoric water infiltration, transportation and the formation of thermal springs. | WANG Guiling GAN Haonan LIN Wenjing YUE Gaofan YAN Xiaoxue LI Tingxin ZHANG Wei MA Feng | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,4: | 2
PMN-MDSCs modulated by CCL20 from cancer cells promoted breast cancer cell stemness through CXCL2-CXCR2 pathway显示文摘Our previous studies have showed that C-C motif chemokine ligand 20(CCL20)advanced tumor progression and enhanced the chemoresistance of cancer cells by positively regulating breast cancer stem cell(BCSC)self-renewal.However,it is unclear whether CCL20 affects breast cancer progression by remodeling the tumor microenvironment(TME).Here,we observed that polymorphonuclear myeloid-derived suppressor cells(PMN-MDSCs)were remarkably enriched in TME of CCL20-overexpressing cancer cell orthotopic allograft tumors.Mechanistically,CCL20 activated the differentiation of granulocyte-monocyte progenitors(GMPs)via its receptor C-C motif chemokine receptor 6(CCR6)leading to the PMN-MDSC expansion.PMN-MDSCs from CCL20-overexpressing cell orthotopic allograft tumors(CCL20-modulated PMN-MDSCs)secreted amounts of C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 2(CXCL2)and increased ALDH+BCSCs via activating CXCR2/NOTCH1/HEY1 signaling pathway.Furthermore,C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 2(CXCR2)antagonist SB225002 enhanced the docetaxel(DTX)effects on tumor growth by decreasing BCSCs in CCL20high-expressing tumors. These findings elucidated how CCL20 modulated the TME to promote cancer development, indicating a new therapeutic strategy by interfering with the interaction between PMN-MDSCs and BCSCs in breast cancer, especially in CCL20high-expressing breast cancer. | Rui Zhang Mengxue Dong Juchuanli Tu Fengkai Li Qiaodan Deng Jiahui Xu Xueyan He Jiajun Ding Jie Xia Dandan Sheng Zhaoxia Chang Wei Ma Haonan Dong Yi Zhang Lixing Zhang Lu Zhang Suling Liu | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 2
The Phytophthora effector Avh241 interacts with host NDR1-like proteins to manipulate plant immunity显示文摘Plant pathogens rely on effector proteins to suppress host innate immune responses and facilitate colonization.Although the Phytophthora sojae RxLR effector Avh241 promotes Phytophthora infection, the molecular basis of Avh241 virulence remains poorly understood. Here we identified non-race specific disease resistance 1(NDR1)-like proteins, the critical components in plant effector-triggered immunity(ETI)responses,as host targets of Avh241.Avh241 interacts with NDR1 in the plasma membrane and suppresses NDR1-participated ETI responses.Silencing of GmNDR1s increases the susceptibility of soybean to P.sojae infection, and overexpression of GmNDR1s reduces infection, which supports its positive role in plant immunity against P.sojae.Furthermore,we demonstrate that GmNDR1 interacts with itself, and Avh241 probably disrupts the self-association of GmNDR1.These data highlight an effective counter-defense mechanism by which a Phytophthora effector suppresses plant immune responses, likely by disturbing the function of NDR1 during infection. | Bo Yang Sen Yang Baodian Guo Yuyin Wang Wenyue Zheng Mengjun Tian Kaixin Dai Zehan Liu Haonan Wang Zhenchuan Ma Yan Wang Wenwu Ye Suomeng Dong Yuanchao Wang | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,7: | 1
Field test and evaluation on crop dividers of sugarcane chopper harvester显示文摘In South China, the tropical weather and climate result in severe sugarcane lodging problems which greatly hinders sugarcane mechanical harvesting. The main function of the crop divider is to lift lodged canes and facilitate base-cut cane feeding. In this study,a series of field tests were conducted on crop dividers of Liugong 4GQ-180 sugarcane chopper harvester. The tests were designed to identify the relationships of the performance index(maximum lifting height of sugarcane)and the main influencing factors(machine forward speed, rotational speed of inside scrolls, and ground clearance of crop divider toes). The single factor test was conducted to determine optimum range of these test factors:the forward speed(FS)was 2.0-4.0 km/h,the rotational speed of inside scrolls(RS)was 100-140 r/min,and the toe ground clearance(GC)was 0-5 cm.The orthogonal test(three factors and three levels)was carried out to determine the optimal combination of operating parameters:FS was 2.0 km/h,RS was 115 r/min,and GC was 0 cm.In addition, the range analysis of orthogonal test results revealed that the order of each test factor affecting crop divider performance was RS,FS,GC.This study was expected to provide valuable references for the optimal operation of sugarcane harvester crop dividers. | Jing Bai Shaochun Ma Fenglei Wang Haonan Xing Jinzhi Ma Jiwei Hu | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1: | 1
Molecular cytogenetic analyses of two new wheat-rye 6RL translocation lines with resistance to wheat powdery mildew显示文摘Rye(Secale cereale)is a valuable gene donor for wheat improvement, especially for its resistance to diseases.Developing rye-derived resistance sources is important for wheat breeding. In the present study, two wheat-rye derivatives, designated JS016 and JS110,were produced by crossing common wheat cultivar Yangmai 23 with Pakistani rye accession W2A.Using sequential genomic in situ hybridization(GISH)and multicolor fluorescence in situ hybridization(mc-FISH),JS016 and JS110 were identified as a T6BS.6RL translocation line and a T6BS.6BL6RL translocation line, respectively.Ten newly 6RL chromosome arm-specific markers were developed and used to confirm the 6RL translocation. The wheat 55K single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)array further verified the molecular cytogenetic identification results above and clarified their breakpoints at 430.9 and 523.0 Mb of chromosome 6B in JS016 and JS110,respectively.Resistance spectrum and allelism test demonstrated that JS016 and JS110 possessed novel powdery mildew resistance gene(s)that was derived from the 6RL translocation but differed from Pm20.Moreover,JS016 and JS110 had better agronomic traits than the previously reported 6RL translocation line carrying Pm20.To efficiently transfer and detect the 6RL translocation from JS016 and JS110,one 6RL-specific Kompetitive allele specific PCR(KASP)marker was developed and validated in high throughput marker-assisted selection(MAS). | Shanying Zhu Haonan Du Fuyu Su Jin Wang Qingfeng Meng Tianlei Liu Rui Guo Zhaozhao Chen Huanhuan Li Wenxuan Liu Pengtao Ma Huagang He | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,2: | 1

用于实时皮肤创面愈合的超强工程化蛋白凝聚体黏合剂显示文摘Adhesives have attracted a great deal of attention as an advanced modality in biomedical engineering because of their unique wound management behavior. However,it is a grand challenge for current adhesive systems to achieve robust adhesion due to their tenuous interfacial bonding strength. Moreover, the absence of dynamic adaptability in conventional chemical adhesives restricts neoblasts around the wound from migrating to the site, resulting in an inferior tissue-regeneration effect.Herein,an extracellular matrix-derived biocomposite adhesive with robust adhesion and a real-time skin healing effect is well-engineered.Liquid–liquid phase separation is well-harnessed to drive the assembly of the biocomposite adhesive, with the active involvement of supramolecular interactions between chimeric protein and natural DNA,leading to a robustly reinforced adhesion performance. The bioadhesive exhibits outstanding adhesion and sealing behaviors, with a sheared adhesion strength of approximately 18 MPa,outperforming its reported counterparts. Moreover, the engineered bioderived components endow this adhesive material with biocompatibility and exceptional biological functions including the promotion of cell proliferation and migration, such that the use of this material eventually yields real-time in situ skin regeneration. This work opens up novel avenues for functionalized bioadhesive engineering and biomedical translations. | Ming Li Baimei Liu Wei Xu Lai Zhao Zili Wang Haonan He Jingjing Li Fan Wang Chao Ma Kai Liu Hongjie Zhang | 2023 | Engineering2023,31,12: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 10 | In-depth investigation on the factors affecting the performance of high oil-absorption resin by response surface method显示文摘A series of high oil-absorption resins with low cross-linking degree were synthesized by suspension polymerization using stearyl methacrylate(SMA),2-Ethylhexyl methacrylate(EHMA),and styrene(St)as monomers.Response surface methodology(RSM)with central composite design(CCD)was also applied to determine the optimal parameters that are mainly known to affect their synthesis. Thus, the effects of the monomer mass ratio(EHMA:SMA),the rigid monomer(St)dosage, the porous agent(acetone)dosage, and their pairwise interaction on the resin's oil-absorption capacity were analyzed, highlighting PSES-R_(2) as the resin with the optimum performance. The pure oil-absorption rates of PSES-R_(2) for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene were 11.19 g·g^(-1),16.25 g·g^(-1),and 14.84 g·g^(-1),respectively,while the oil removal rates from oily wastewater were 98.82%,65.11%,and 99.63%,respectively. | Lei Ma Hongxia Lv Haonan Yu Lingtong Kong Rongyue Zhang Xiaoyan Guo Haibo Jin Guangxiang He Xiaoyan Liu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5: | 0
Orthologous genesPm12andPm21from twowild relatives of wheat show evolutionary conservation but divergent powdery mildew resistance显示文摘Wheat powdery mildew, caused by Blumeria graminis f.sp.tritici(Bgt),is a devastating disease that threatens wheat production worldwide.Pm12,which originated from Aegilops speltoides,a wild relative of wheat, confers strong resistance to powdery mildew and therefore has potential use in wheat breeding.Using susceptible mutants induced by gamma irradiation,we physically mapped and isolated Pm12 and showed it to be orthologous to Pm21 from Dasypyrum villosum, also a wild relative of wheat. The resistance function of Pm12 was validated via ethyl methanesulfonatemutagenesis,virus-induced gene silencing, and stable genetic transformation.Evolutionary analysis indicates that the Pm12/Pm21 loci in wheat species are relatively conserved but dynamic. Here,we demonstrated that the two orthologous genes,Pm12 and Pm21,possess differential resistance against the same set of Bgt isolates.Overexpression of the coiledcoil domains of both PM12 and PM21 induces cell death in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. However, their full-length forms display different cell death-inducing activities caused by their distinct intramolecular interactions.Cloning of Pm12 will facilitate its application in wheat breeding programs. This study also gives new insight into two orthologous resistance genes,Pm12 and Pm21,which show different race specificities and intramolecular interaction patterns. | Shanying Zhu Cheng Liu Shuangjun Gong Zhaozhao Chen Rong Chen Tianlei Liu Renkang Liu Haonan Du Rui Guo Genying Li Miaomiao Li Renchun Fan Zhiyong Liu Qian-Hua Shen Anli Gao Pengtao Ma Huagang He | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,2: | 0
Deep reinforcement learning and 3D physical environments applied to crowd evacuation in congested scenarios显示文摘To avoid crowd evacuation simulations depending on 2D environments and real data,we propose a framework for crowd evacuation modeling and simulation by applying deep reinforcement learning(DRL)and 3D physical environments(3DPEs).In 3DPEs,we construct simulation scenarios from the aspects of geometry, semantics and physics, which include the environment, the agents and their interactions, and provide training samples for DRL.In DRL,we design a double branch feature extraction combined actor and critic network as the DRL policy and value function and use a clipped surrogate objective with polynomial decay to update the policy. With a unified configuration,we conduct evacuation simulations. In scenarios with one exit,we reproduce and verify the bottleneck effect of congested crowds and explore the impact of exit width and agent characteristics(number, mass and height)on evacuation. In scenarios with two exits and a uniform(nonuniform)distribution of agents,we explore the impact of exit characteristics(width and relative position)and agent characteristics(height, initial location and distribution)on agent exit selection and evacuation.Overall, interactive 3DPEs and unified DRL enable agents to adapt to different evacuation scenarios to simulate crowd evacuation and explore the laws of crowd evacuation. | Dong Zhang Wenhang Li Jianhua Gong Guoyong Zhang Jiantao Liu Lin Huang Heng Liu Haonan Ma | 2023 | International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1: | 0
KCNJ15 deficiency promotes drug resistance via affecting the function of lysosomes显示文摘The altered lysosomal function can induce drug redistribution which leads to drug resistance and poor prognosis for cancer patients.V-ATPase,an ATP-driven proton pump positioned at lysosomal surfaces,is responsible for maintaining the stability of lysosome.Herein,we reported that the potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily J member 15(KCNJ15)protein,which may bind to V-ATPase,can regulate the function of lysosome. The deficiency of KCNJ15 protein in breast cancer cells led to drug aggregation as well as reduction of drug efficacy. The application of the V-ATPase inhibitor could inhibit the binding between KCNJ15 and V-ATPase,contributing to the amelioration of drug resistance.Clinical data analysis revealed that KCNJ15 deficiency was associated with higher histological grading, advanced stages, more metastases of lymph nodes, and shorter disease free survival of patients with breast cancer.KCNJ15 expression level is positively correlated with a high response rate after receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Moreover,we revealed that the small molecule drug CMA/BAF can reverse drug resistance by disrupting the interaction between KCNJ15 and lysosomes. In conclusion,KCNJ15 could be identified as an underlying indicator for drug resistance and survival of breast cancer, which might guide the choice of therapeutic strategies. | Xinbo Qiao Yixiao Zhang Zhan Zhang Nan Niu Haonan Li Lisha Sun Qingtian Ma Jiawen Bu Jinchi Liu Guanglei Chen Jinqi Xue Yongliang Yang Caigang Liu | 2023 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2023,18,3: | 0
NIR-activated nanosystems with self-modulated bacteria targeting for enhanced biofilm eradication and caries prevention显示文摘The efficacious delivery of antimicrobial drugs to intractable oral biofilms remains a challenge due to inadequate biofilm penetration and lack of pathogen targeting.Herein,we have developed a microenvironment-activated poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG)-sheddable nanoplatform to mediate targeted delivery of drugs into oral biofilms for the efficient prevention of dental caries. The PEGylated nanoplatform with enhanced biofilm penetration is capable of deshielding the PEG layer under slightly acidic conditions in a PEG chain length-dependent manner to re-expose the bacteria-targeting ligands, thereby facilitating targeted codelivery of ciprofloxacin(CIP)and IR780 to the bacteria after accumulation within biofilms. The nanoplatform tends to induce bacterial agglomeration and suffers from degradation in the acidic oral biofilm microenvironment, triggering rapid drug release on demand around bacterial cells. The self-modulating nanoplatform under near-infrared(NIR)irradiation accordingly displays greatly augmented potency in oral biofilm penetration and disruption compared with drugs alone.Topical oral treatment with nanoplatforms involving synergetic pharmacological and photothermal/photodynamic trinary therapy results in robust biofilm dispersion and efficacious suppression of severe tooth decay in rats. This versatile nanoplatform can promote local accumulation and specific drug transport into biofilms and represents a new paradigm for targeted drug delivery for the management of oral biofilm-associated infections. | Yunjian Yu Yufei Zhang Yijie Cheng Yuxia Wang Zeyuan Chen Haonan Sun Xiaosong Wei Zhuang Ma Jie Li Yayun Bai Zhongming Wu Xinge Zhang | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,7: | 0
