2Recent advances on deoximation: From stoichiometric reaction to catalytic reaction显示文摘Deoximation reaction is one of the most important transformations in organic synthesis and for fine chemical production.Since oximes are easily synthesized from carbonyl compounds and are stable compounds,this reaction can be used for protection-deprotection,purification,and characterization of carbonyl compounds in organic synthesis,especially for the synthesis of medicines as well as the natural products.Moreover,because many oximes can be synthesized from non-carbonyl starting materials,the deoximation reaction is also widely used in the production of many carbonyl-contained fine chemicals.Deoximation methods by using stoichiometric reagents are mature and can produce the related carbonyl products in very high yield with broad substrate application scopes.But for environment-protection consideration as well as the production cost controlling purpose in fine chemical industry,developing catalytic deoximation methods is the trend of the field and there are a series of references on this topic in recent years.This short review summarized recent advances on the development of deoximation methods from stoichiometric reaction to catalytic reaction and the mechanisms of some important transformations were discussed in detail for reader reference.Yinghao Zheng Aiqiong Wu Yangyang Ke Hongen Cao Lei Yu 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,5:5
3Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery in urology: The Chinese experience显示文摘Objective:To describe the Chinese experience of natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery(NOTES)in urology.Methods:From December 2008 to May 2017,35 animal experiments and 305 clinical surgeries of NOTES or natural orifices specimen extractions(NOSE)were performed in China.The animal experiments included five kidney biopsies,24 nephrectomies and six partial nephrectomies.The clinical surgeries included 12 transvaginal NOSE(TV-NOSE),266 hybrid transvaginal NOTES(TV-NOTES)and 27 pure TV-NOTES.The TV-NOSE procedure was performed in five transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site(U-LESS)nephrectomies,four suprapubic-assisted laparoendoscopic single-site surgery(SA-LESS)nephroureterectomies,and three laparoscopic radical cystectomies.The hybrid TV-NOTES procedure included 210 nephrectomies,31 adrenalectomies,eight nephroureterectomies,13 partial nephrectomies,and four heminephrectomies.The pure TV-NOTES procedure included five renal cyst decortications and 22 nephrectomies.Results:A total of 29 animal experiments were successfully performed.One partial nephrectomy was converted to standard laparoscopic surgery.Two kidney biopsies and two nephrectomies were unsuccessful.A total of 297 clinical surgeries were successfully performed.Six patients who underwent hybrid TV-NOTES were converted to open surgery.Two patients who underwent pure TV-NOTES were converted to SA-LESS.There were 22 major complications,16 occurred intraoperatively and six postoperatively.The mean visual analog score(VAS)of 48 h after the operation was 2.5 points in TV-NOSE,2.3 points in hybrid TV-NOTES and 1.7 points in pure TV-NOTES.The mean follow-up of 50.6(3.0-87.0)months showed that all patients were in good condition.The umbilicus scars were nearly invisible in TV-NOSE and hybrid TV-NOTES.The vaginal incision healed well.Conclusions:TV-NOSE and TV-NOTES are feasible,safe,and effective with little injury,low pain,fast recovery,and good cosmetic outcomes in properly selected patients.They are worth consideration for urological clinical practice.Xiaofeng Zou Guoxi Zhang Tianpeng Xie Yuanhu Yuan Rihai Xiao Gengqing Wu Xiaoning Wang Hui Xu Folin Liu Yuting Wu Yunfeng Liao Quanliang Liu Yinghao Sun Bo Yang Linhui Wang Chuanliang Xu Xiaofeng Gao 2020Asian Journal of Urology2020,7,1:5
4Preliminary results of a new global ocean reanalysis显示文摘Using a new global ocean reanalysis of the second generation Global Ocean Data Assimilation System of the Beijing Climate Center(BCC_GODAS2.0) spanning the period 1990-2009,we firstly quantify the accuracy of BCC_GODAS2.0 in representing the temperature and salinity by comparing with OISST and SODA data.The results show that the assimilation system may effectively improve the estimations of temperature and salinity by assimilating all kinds of observations,especially in the equatorial eastern Pacific.Moreover,the root mean square errors of monthly temperature and salinity are respectively reduced by 0.53℃ and 0.28 psu,compared with the model control simulation results.Then,the applicability of this ocean reanalysis for sea surface temperature(SST) anomaly variability in the tropical Pacific is evaluated with the observational HadISST data.The NINO3 index of the new reanalysis shows a good agreement with that of HadISST,with a correlation of 93.6%.Variations in SST from BCC_GODAS2.0 are similar to those obtained from HadISST data along the equator,showing the major large zonal-scale features such as the strong magnitude of seasonal cycle.The amplitude of SST anomaly standard deviation in the equatorial eastern Pacific is also closer to observations(HadISST) than NCEP GODAS does.Besides,the first two leading empirical orthogonal function(EOF) modes of the monthly SST anomalies over the tropical Pacific region are explored.The EOF1 pattern of BCC_GODAS2.0 captures a traditional El Ni o pattern,which improves magnitudes of the positive SST anomaly in the cold tongue of the eastern Pacific.The EOF2 pattern exhibits a El Ni o Modoki pattern.Comparatively,the EOF2 pattern of BCC_GODAS2.0 extends more strongly toward the subtropics.It also overcomes the problem that negative loadings are confined in the narrow equatorial eastern Pacific.Consequently,the magnitude and spatial distribution of the leading EOF patterns of BCC_GODAS2.0 are well consistent with those of HadISST.WANG DongXiao QIN YingHao XIAO XianJun ZHANG ZuQiang WU FengMin 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,26:4
5A phase 3,double-blind,randomized placebo-controlled efficacy and safety study of abiraterone acetate in chemotherapynaı¨ve patients with mCRPC in China,Malaysia,Thailand and Russia显示文摘Objective:This double-blind,placebo-controlled phase 3 study was designed to compare efficacy and safety of abiraterone acetate+prednisone(abiraterone)to prednisone alone in chemotherapy-naı¨ve,asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic metastatic castrationresistant prostate cancer(mCRPC)patients from China,Malaysia,Thailand and Russia.Methods:Adult chemotherapy-naı¨ve patients with confirmed prostate adenocarcinoma,Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)performance status(PS)grade 0e1,ongoing androgen deprivation(serum testosterone<50 ng/dL)with prostate specific antigen(PSA)or radiographic progression were randomized to receive abiraterone acetate(1000 mg,QD)t prednisone(5 mg,BID)or placebo t prednisone(5 mg,BID),until disease progression,unacceptable toxicity or consent withdrawal.Primary endpoint was improvements in time to PSA progression(TTPP).Results:Totally,313 patients were randomized(abiraterone:n Z 157;prednisone:n Z 156);and baseline characteristics were balanced.At clinical cut-off(median follow-up time:3.9 months),80% patients received treatment(abiraterone:n Z 138,prednisone:n Z 112).Median time to PSA progression was not reached with abiraterone versus 3.8 months for prednisone,attaining 58%reduction in PSA progression risk(HR=0.418;p<0.0001).Abirateronetreated patients had higher confirmed PSA response rate(50%vs.21%;relative odds=2.4;p<0.0001)and were 5 times more likely to achieve radiographic response than prednisonetreated patients(22.9%vs.4.8%,p=0.0369).Median survival was not reached.Most common(≥10% abiraterone vs.prednisone-treated)adverse events:bone pain(7%vs.14%),pain in extremity(6%vs.12%),arthralgia(10%vs.8%),back pain(7%vs.11%),and hypertension(15%vs.14%).Conclusion:Interim analysis confirmed favorable benefit-to-risk ratio of abiraterone in chemotherapy-naı¨ve men with mCRPC,consistent with global study,thus supporting use of abiraterone in this patient population.Dingwei Ye Yiran Huang Fangjian Zhou Keji Xie Vsevolod Matveev Changling Li Boris Alexeev Ye Tian Mingxing Qiu Hanzhong Li Tie Zhou Peter De Porre Margaret Yu Vahid Naini Hongchuan Liang Zhuli Wu Yinghao Sun 2017Asian Journal of Urology2017,4,2:3
6Influence of Bedding and Mineral Composition on Mechanical Properties and Its Implication for Hydraulic Fracturing of Shale Oil Reservoirs显示文摘The premise of hydraulic fracturing is to have an accurate and detailed understanding of the rock mechanical properties and fracture propagation law of shale reservoirs. In this paper,a comprehensive evaluation of the mechanical properties of the shale oil reservoir in the south of Songliao Basin is carried out. Based on the experiments and the in-situ stress analysis, the fracture propagation law of three types of shale reservoirs is obtained,and the suggestions for fracturing are put forward. The results have shown that the fracture propagation of pure shale and low mature reservoir is easy to open along the bedding plane under compression loading,which is greatly influenced by the bedding. Sand-bearing shale is slightly better,the fractures of which are not easy to open along the bedding plane. The mechanical experimental results show that all the samples have the characteristics of low compressive strength,low Young’s modulus and strong anisotropy,indicating that the shale oil reservoir is certain plastic,which is related to its high clay mineral content and controlled by the bedding development. Compared with pure shale and low mature shale,the sandbearing shale has less clay content and less developed bedding,which maybe the main reason for its slightly better brittleness. Overall,the expansion of hydraulic fracture is controlled by in-situ stress and bedding. Because of the development of bedding,it is easy to form horizontal fractures. Thus it is not suitable for horizontal well fracturing.Because of the high content of clay minerals,the applicability of conventional slick hydraulic fracturing fluid is poor. It is suggested to use vertical well or directional well to carry out volume fracturing. 7Fly Ash/Paraffin Composite Phase Change Material Used to Treat Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Expansive Soil in Cold Regions显示文摘Phase change materials(PCMs)can store large amounts of energy in latent heat and release it during phase changes,which could be used to improve the freeze-thaw performance of soil.The composite phase change material was prepared with paraffin as the PCM and 8%Class C fly ash(CFA)as the supporting material.Laboratory tests were conducted to reveal the influence of phase change paraffin composite Class C fly ash(CFA-PCM)on the thermal properties,volume changes and mechanical properties of expansive soil.The results show that PCM failed to establish a good improvement effect due to leakage.CFA can effectively adsorb phase change materials,and the two have good compatibility.CFA-PCM reduces the volume change and strength attenuation of the soil,and 8 wt.%PCM is the optimal content.CFA-PCM turns the phase change latent heat down of the soil and improves its thermal stability.CFA-PCM makes the impact small of freeze-thaw on soil pore structure damage and improves soil volume change and mechanical properties on a macroscopic scale.In addition,CFA-8 wt.%PCM treated expansive soil has apparent advantages in resisting repeated freeze-thaw cycles,providing a reference for actual engineering design.Yong Chen Yinghao Huang Min Wu Shuo Wang 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,4:2
8Designing a dual-functional material with barrier anti-corrosion and photocatalytic antifouling properties using g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheet with ZnO nanoring显示文摘As a semiconductor material with a 2 D-laminate structure, g-C_(3)N_(4)(bandwidth 2.7 e V) has a similar structure and excellent performance to graphene. However, high surface energy and photogenerated e–h recombination of g-C_(3)N_(4)seriously hinder its application in the field of marine anticorrosion and antifouling.To solve these problems, we synthesized the g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets decorated with Zn O nanoring via chemical etching technology. Whether the NR Zn O-CNNs have surface protection performance among the pure EP on the corrosion protection for metal substrate were investigated. The antifouling properties NR Zn OCNNs hybrid were also estimated through photocatalytic bacterial and algae resistance tests. Combined with the electrochemical results, it was found that the impedance modulus of NR Zn O-CNNs/EP within 45 days showed two orders of magnitude higher than that of pure EP in the 3.5 wt% Na Cl solution. Besides, Local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(LEIS) further explored the anticorrosion behavior of NR Zn O-CNNs/EP coating, which indicated that the NR Zn O-CNNs/EP coating with a scratch maintained an excellent corrosion resistance between 0–24 h. Under the visible light conditions, the lifetime of photogenerated e–h was prolonged due to the formation of NR Zn O-CNNs heterojunction structure, it was observed that the antibacterial rate against Bacillus subtilis reached 100% within 8 h. An Antialgae test was performed on chlorella seawater solution, which indicated that 5 mg/m L of NR Zn O-CNNs hybrid could make chlorella sharply reduce within 4 days. 16Transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery of simple nephrectomy of nonfunctioning kidney: a two-year experience显示文摘Background: Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) may serve as a potential alternative to conventional laparoscopy and is developing quickly, but still in its infancy. The study is to present our two-year experience in transumbilical LESS simple nephrectomy (LESS-SN) for non-functioning kidney, in an effort to evaluate its feasibility, clinical outcomes and potential advantages. Methods: From December 2008 to December 2010, a total of 11 patients with body mass index (BMI) ≤30 underwent transumbilical TriPort TM LESS-SN by a single experienced urologist at our institution. The indications for nephrectomy included nonfunctioning kidney associated with ureteropelvic junctionstricture (n=1), ureteral calculi (n=6), tuberculosis (n=3), and ureteral stricture (n=1). Patient demographics, perioperative and follow-up data were prospectively collected and analyzed. Results: Ten procedures were successfully completed with one patient converted to open surgery due to uncontrollable bleeding. The mean operative time was 189.2 (ranging 100~320 min) with an estimated blood loss of 204.5 (ranging 50-1 000 ml). There were two complications of bleeding (1- intra-, 1- post-). The mean hospitalization after surgery was 7.9 d (ranging 4-17 d). With a regular follow-up of 1, 6, 12, and 24 months after surgery, all patients remained symptom-free with an intra-umbilical scar. Conclusion: Transumbilical LESS simple nephrectomy for nonfunctioning kidney can be accomplished with favorable surgical outcomes and a superiority of cosmesis. 17Computational Assessment of Protein–protein Binding Affinity by Reversely Engineering the Energetics in Protein Complexes显示文摘The cellular functions of proteins are maintained by forming diverse complexes.The stability of these com-plexes is quantified by the measurement of binding affinity,and mutations that alter the binding affinity can cause various diseases such as cancer and diabetes.As a result,accurate estimation of the binding stability and the effects of mutations on changes of binding affinity is a crucial step to understanding the biological functions of proteins and their dysfunctional consequences.It has been hypothesized that the stability of a protein complex is dependent not only on the residues at its binding interface by pairwise interactions but also on all other remaining residues that do not appear at the binding interface.Here,we computationally reconstruct the binding affinity by decomposing it into the contributions of interfacial residues and other non-interfacial residues in a protein complex.We further assume that the contributions of both interfacial and non-interfacial residues to the binding affinity depend on their local structural environments such as solvent-accessible surfaces and secondary structural types.The weights of all corresponding parameters are optimized by Monte-Carlo simulations.After cross-validation against a large-scale dataset,we show that the model not only shows a strong correlation between the absolute values of the experimental and calculated binding affinities,but can also be an effective approach to predict the relative changes of binding affinity from mutations.Moreover,we have found that the optimized weights of many parameters can capture the first-principle chemical and physical features of molecular recognition,therefore re-versely engineering the energetics of protein complexes.These results suggest that our method can serve as a useful addition to current computational approaches for predicting binding affinity and understanding the molecular mechanism of protein–protein interactions.Bo Wang Zhaoqian Su Yinghao Wu 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,6:0
18A confined growth strategy to construct 3DOM SiO_(2) nanoreactor insitu embedded Co_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles catalyst for the catalytic combustion of VOCs:Superior H_(2)O and SO_(2) resistance显示文摘SO_(2)poisoning is a common problem in the catalytic combustion of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).In this work,we took three-dimensionally ordered macroporous and mesoporous(3DOM)SiO_(2)as the nanoreactor to protect active sites from SO_(2)erosion in the catalytic combustion of benzene.Simultaneously,the confined growth of metal active nanoparticles in the multi-stage pore is also full of challenges.And we successfully confined Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(NPs)in macroporous and mesoporous channels.Interestingly,the precursors’growth in the pore was controlled and nanoreactors with different pore sizes were prepared by adjusting the loading amount and preparation methods.It is discovered that the Co_(3)O_(4)NPs confined in 3DOM SiO_(2)nanoreactor showed superior sulfur and water resistance.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations verified that the Co-Si catalyst had high SO_(2)adsorption energy(-0.48 eV),which illustrated that SO_(2)was hard to attach to the surface of the Co-Si catalyst.The SiO_(2)nanoreactor had low SO_(2)adsorption energy(-5.15 eV),which indicated that SO_(2)was easily absorbed on SiO_(2)nanoreactor.This illustrated that the SiO_(2)nanoreactor could protect effectively active sites from SO_(2)erosion.Weigao Han Shilin Wu Fang Dong Weiliang Han Yinghao Chu Linghui Su Zhicheng Tang 2024Nano Research2024,17,1:0

20Transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery(LESS) partial nephrectomy:a median follow-up of 2 years显示文摘Objective:Nephron-sparing surgery(NSS) for small renal masses offers a similar functional and oncological outcome to that of radical surgery.Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery(LESS) emerges as an advanced alternative for reduced invasiveness and improves cosmesis;LESS is developing quickly and its indications have been expanded,but still in its infancy.The aim of this paper is to report our preliminary experience in transumbilical LESS partial nephrectomy(LESS-PN),so as to assess its utility, safety and efficacy.Methods:From August 2009 to October 2010,3 patients underwent transumbilical LESS-PN via a novel multi-channel TriPort by a single experienced urologist in our institution.Patient demographics,perioperative and follow-up data were prospectively collected and analyzed.Results:All the three procedures were successfully completed.A 5-mm ancillary trocar was utilized in all 3 cases.The mean operative duration was 226.3(210-254 min) with an estimated blood loss of 56.7 ml (20-100 ml).Mean warm ischemia time was 35.7 min(19-48 min).One patient was transfused due to postoperative bleeding. The recovery was uneventful and mean length of postoperative stay was 13 days(12-14 days).At the latest follow-up,all patients remained symptom-free and had normal renal function without evidence of recurrence,and they were delighted for a hidden transumbilical scar.Conclusion:Transumbilical LESS-PN is a feasible and safe procedure albeit extremely technically challenging.Surgical outcomes at a median follow-up of 2 years are promising,while currently it should be reserved for highly selected patients with favorable tumor anatomy and performed by a very experienced laparoscopic surgeon.Wang Linhui Wu Zhenjie Liu Bing Yang Qing Xiao Liang Sun Yinghao 2011Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2011,26,6:0
