The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. In particular, its wide field monitoring capabilities will be highly instrumental to detect the electro-magnetic counterparts of gravitational wave sources. The paper provides a detailed description of:(1) the technological and technical aspects, and the expected performance of the instruments of the scientific payload;(2) the elements and functions of the mission, from the spacecraft to the ground segment. | ShuangNan Zhang Andrea Santangelo Marco Feroci YuPeng Xu FangJun Lu Yong Chen Hua Feng Shu Zhang Sφren Brandt Margarita Hernanz Luca Baldini Enrico Bozzo Riccardo Campana Alessandra De Rosa YongWei Dong Yuri Evangelista Vladimir Karas Norbert Meidinger Aline Meuris Kirpal Nandra Teng Pan Giovanni Pareschi Piotr Orleanski QiuShi Huang Stephane Schanne Giorgia Sironi Daniele Spiga Jiri Svoboda Gianpiero Tagliaferri Christoph Tenzer Andrea Vacchi Silvia Zane Dave Walton ZhanShan Wang Berend Winter Xin Wu Jean J.M.in't Zand Mahdi Ahangarianabhari Giovanni Ambrosi Filippo Ambrosino Marco Barbera Stefano Basso Jörg Bayer Ronaldo Bellazzini Pierluigi Bellutti Bruna Bertucci Giuseppe Bertuccio Giacomo Borghi XueLei Cao Franck Cadoux Francesco Ceraudo TianXiang Chen Yu Peng Chen Jerome Chevenez Marta Civitani Wei Cui WeiWei Cui Thomas Dauser Ettore Del Monte Sergio Di Cosimo Sebastian Diebold Victor Doroshenko Michal Dovciak YuanYuan Du Lorenzo Ducci QingMei Fan Yannick Favre Fabio Fuschino JoséLuis Ga'lvez Min Gao MingYu Ge Olivier Gevin Marco Grassi QuanYing Gu YuDong Gu DaWei Han Bin Hong Wei Hu Long Ji ShuMei Jia WeiChun Jiang Thomas Kennedy Ingo Kreykenbohm Irfan Kuvvetli Claudio Labanti Luca Latronico Gang Li MaoShun Li Xian Li Wei Li ZhengWei Li Olivier Limousin HongWei Liu XiaoJing Liu Bo Lu Tao Luo Daniele Macera Piero Malcovati Adrian Martindale Malgorzata Michalska Bin Meng Massimo Minuti Alfredo Morbidini Fabio Muleri Stephane Paltani Emanuele Perinati Antonino Picciotto Claudio Piemonte JinLu Qu Alexandre Rachevski Irina Rashevskaya Jerome Rodriguez Thomas Schanz ZhengXiang Shen LiZhi Sheng JiangBo Song LiMing Song Carmelo Sgro Liang Sun Ying Tan Phil Uttley Bo Wang DianLong Wang GuoFeng Wang Juan Wang LangPing Wang YuSa Wang Anna L.Watts XiangYang Wen Jörn Wilms ShaoLin Xiong JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang Nian Yu WenDa Zhang Gianluigi Zampa Nicola Zampa Andrzej A.Zdziarski AiMei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang Long Zhang Tong Zhang Yi Zhang XiaoLi Zhang ZiLiang Zhang BaoSheng Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yu Peng Zhou Nicola Zorzi J.Frans Zwart | 2019 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,2: | 11
Association between Plasma Metal Levels and Diabetes Risk: a Case-control Study in China显示文摘Objective Many metals, some of which have been classified as environmental endocrine disruptors, are used extensively in everyday consumer products and are ubiquitous in our living environment. In the present study, we aimed to explore the associations between the prevalence risk of type 2 diabetes and plasma levels of 20 trace elements as well as those of heavy metals in a Han Chinese population. Methods We conducted a case-control study to investigate the associations between plasma concentrations of 20 metals and diabetes in Jiangsu province. A total of 122 newly diagnosed cases of type 2 diabetes and 429 matched controls were recruited from community physical examinations in Suzhou City of Jiangsu Province. Plasma metal levels were measured by inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Results After adjusting for confounders, plasma vanadium, chromium, manganese, copper, zinc, arsenic, selenium, strontium, palladium, cadmium, cesium, and barium were associated with diabetes risk(P < 0.05). The adjusted OR increased with increasing concentration of vanadium, manganese, copper, zinc, and cesium. Conclusion Many metals, including manganese, copper, zinc, arsenic, selenium, and cadmium in plasma, are associated with the morbidity of diabetes. Monitoring of environmental metal levels and further studies are urgently needed. | LI Xiu Ting YU Peng Fei GAO Yan GUO Wen Hui WANG Jun LIU Xin GU Ai Hua JI Gui Xiang DONG Qiu WANG Bo Shen CAO Ying ZHU Bao Li XIAO Hang | 2017 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2017,30,7: | 8
Toll-like receptor 7 deficiency suppresses type 1 diabetes development by modulating B-cell differentiation and function显示文摘Innate immunity mediated by Toll-like receptors(TLRs),which can recognize pathogen molecular patterns, plays a critical role in type 1 diabetes development.TLR7 is a pattern recognition receptor that senses single-stranded RNAs from viruses and host tissue cells;however, its role in type 1 diabetes development remains unclear. In our study,we discovered that Tlr7-deficient(Tlr7^(−/−))nonobese diabetic(NOD)mice,a model of human type 1 diabetes, exhibited a significantly delayed onset and reduced incidence of type 1 diabetes compared with Tlr7-sufficient(Tlr7^(+/+))NOD mice.Mechanistic investigations showed that Tlr7 deficiency significantly altered B-cell differentiation and immunoglobulin production.Moreover,Tlr7^(−/−)NOD B cells were found to suppress diabetogenic CD4^(+)T-cell responses and protect immunodeficient NOD mice from developing diabetes induced by diabetogenic T cells. In addition,we found that Tlr7 deficiency suppressed the antigen-presenting functions of B cells and inhibited cytotoxic CD8^(+)T-cell activation by downregulating the expression of both nonclassical and classical MHC class I(MHC-I)molecules on B cells. Our data suggest that TLR7 contributes to type 1 diabetes development by regulating B-cell functions and subsequent interactions with T cells. Therefore, therapeutically targeting TLR7 may prove beneficial for disease protection. | Juan Huang Jian Peng James Alexander Pearson Georgios Efthimiou Youjia Hu Ningwen Tai Yanpeng Xing Luyao Zhang Jianlei Gu Jianping Jiang Hongyu Zhao Zhiguang Zhou F.Susan Wong Li Wen | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2: | 3
The first data release(DR1) of the LAMOST regular survey显示文摘The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) general survey is a spectroscopic survey that will eventually cover approximately half of the celestial sphere and collect 10 million spectra of stars, galaxies and QSOs. Objects in both the pilot survey and the first year regular survey are included in the LAMOST DR1. The pilot survey started in October 2011 and ended in June 2012, and the data have been released to the public as the LAMOST Pilot Data Release in August 2012. The regular survey started in September 2012, and completed its first year of operation in June 2013. The LAMOST DR1 includes a total of 1202 plates containing 2 955 336 spectra, of which 1 790 879 spectra have observed signalto-noise ratio(SNR) ≥ 10. All data with SNR ≥ 2 are formally released as LAMOST DR1 under the LAMOST data policy. This data release contains a total of 2 204 696 spectra, of which 1 944 329 are stellar spectra, 12 082 are galaxy spectra and 5017 are quasars. The DR1 not only includes spectra, but also three stellar catalogs with measured parameters: late A,FGK-type stars with high quality spectra(1 061 918 entries), A-type stars(100 073 entries), and M-type stars(121 522 entries). This paper introduces the survey design, the observational and instrumental limitations, data reduction and analysis, and some caveats. A description of the FITS structure of spectral files and parameter catalogs is also provided. | A-Li Luo Yong-Heng Zhao Gang Zhao Li-Cai Deng Xiao-Wei Liu Yi-Peng Jing Gang Wang Hao-Tong Zhang Jian-Rong Shi Xiang-Qun Cui Yao-Quan Chu Guo-Ping Li Zhong-Rui Bai Yue Wu Yan Cai Shu-Yun Cao Zi-Huang Cao Jeffrey L.Carlin Hai-Yuan Chen Jian-Jun Chen Kun-Xin Chen Li Chen Xue-Lei Chen Xiao-Yan Chen Ying Chen Norbert Christlieb Jia-Ru Chu Chen-Zhou Cui Yi-Qiao Dong Bing Du Dong-Wei Fan Lei Feng Jian-Ning Fu Peng Gao Xue-Fei Gong Bo-Zhong Gu Yan-Xin Guo Zhan-Wen Han Bo-Liang He Jin-Liang Hou Yong-Hui Hou Wen Hou Hong-Zhuan Hu Ning-Sheng Hu Zhong-Wen Hu Zhi-Ying Huo Lei Jia Fang-Hua Jiang Xiang Jiang Zhi-Bo Jiang Ge Jin Xiao Kong Xu Kong Ya-Juan Lei Ai-Hua Li Chang-Hua Li Guang-Wei Li Hai-Ning Li Jian Li Qi Li Shuang Li Sha-Sha Li Xin-Nan Li Yan Li Yin-Bi Li Ye-Ping Li Yuan Liang Chien-Cheng Lin Chao Liu Gen-Rong Liu Guan-Qun Liu Zhi-Gang Liu Wen-Zhi Lu Yu Luo Yin-Dun Mao Heidi Newberg Ji-Jun Ni Zhao-Xiang Qi Yong-Jun Qi Shi-Yin Shen Huo-Ming Shi Jing Song Yi-Han Song Ding-Qiang Su Hong-Jun Su Zheng-Hong Tang Qing-Sheng Tao Yuan Tian Dan Wang Da-Qi Wang Feng-Fei Wang Guo-Min Wang Hai Wang Hong-Chi Wang Jian Wang Jia-Ning Wang Jian-Ling Wang Jian-Ping Wang Jun-Xian Wang Lei Wang Meng-Xin Wang Shou-Guan Wang Shu-Qing Wang Xia Wang Ya-Nan Wang You Wang Yue-Fei Wang You-Fen Wang Peng Wei Ming-Zhi Wei Hong Wu Ke-Fei Wu Xue-Bing Wu Yu-Zhong Wu Xiao-Zheng Xing Ling-Zhe Xu Xin-Qi Xu Yan Xu Tai-Sheng Yan De-Hua Yang Hai-Feng Yang Hui-Qin Yang Ming Yang Zheng-Qiu Yao Yong Yu Hui Yuan Hai-Bo Yuan Hai-Long Yuan Wei-Min Yuan Chao Zhai En-Peng Zhang Hua-Wei Zhang Jian-Nan Zhang Li-Pin Zhang Wei Zhang Yong Zhang Yan-Xia Zhang Zheng-Chao Zhang Ming Zhao Fang Zhou Xu Zhou Jie Zhu Yong-Tian Zhu Si-Cheng Zou Fang Zuo | 2015 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2015,15,8: | 2
Measurement of the neutron total cross section of carbon at the Back-n white neutron beam of CSNS显示文摘To verify the performance of the neutron total cross-sectional spectrometer, the neutron total cross section of carbon is initially measured in the energy range of 1 eV to 20 MeV using the time-of-flight method. The measurement is performed at the Back-n white neutron source with a 76-m time-of-flight path using the China Spallation Neutron Source. A multilayer fast fission chamber with 235U and 238U is employed as the neutron detector. The diameter and thickness of the natural graphite sample are 70 mm and 40 mm, respectively. Signal waveforms are collected using a data acquisition system. Off-line data processing was used to obtain the neutron time-of-flight spectra and transmissions. The uncertainty of the counting statistics is generally approximately 3% for each bin in the energy range of 1–20 MeV. It is determined that the results for the neutron total cross section of carbon obtained using ^235U cells are in good agreement with the results obtained using 238U cells within limits of statistical uncertainty. Moreover, the measured total cross sections show good agreement with the broadening evaluated data. | Xing-Yan Liu Yi-Wei Yang Rong Liu Jie Wen Zhong-Wei Wen Zi-Jie Han Zhi-Zhou Ren Qi An Huai-Yong Bai Jie Bao Ping Cao Qi-Ping Chen Yong-Hao Chen Pin-Jing Cheng Zeng-Qi Cui Rui-Rui Fan Chang-Qing Feng Min-Hao Gu Feng-Qin Guo Chang-Cai Han Guo-Zhu He Yong-Cheng He Yue-Feng He Han-Xiong Huang Wei-Ling Huang Xi-Ru Huang Xiao-Lu Ji Xu-Yang Ji Hao-Yu Jiang Wei Jiang Han-Tao Jing Ling Kang Ming-Tao Kang Bo Li Lun Li Qiang Li Xiao Li Yang Li Yang Li Shu-Bin Liu Guang-Yuan Luan Ying-Lin Ma Chang-Jun Ning Bin-Bin Qi Jie Ren Xi-Chao Ruan Zhao-Hui Song Hong Sun Xiao-Yang Sun Zhi-Jia Sun Zhi-Xin Tan Hong-Qing Tang Jing-Yu Tang Peng-Cheng Wang Qi Wang Tao-Feng Wang Yan-Feng Wang Zhao-Hui Wang Zheng Wang Qing-Biao Wu Xiao-Guang Wu Xuan Wu Li-Kun Xie Han Yi Li Yu Tao Yu Yong-Ji Yu Guo-Hui Zhang Jing Zhang Lin-Hao Zhang Li-Ying Zhang Qing-Min Zhang Qi-Wei Zhang Xian-Peng Zhang Yu-Liang Zhang Zhi-Yong Zhang Ying-Tan Zhao Liang Zhou Zu-Ying Zhou Dan-Yang Zhu Ke-Jun Zhu Peng Zhu | 2019 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2019,30,9: | 2

Oxygen vacancies enriched nickel cobalt based nanoflower cathodes: Mechanism and application of the enhanced energy storage显示文摘The rational design of oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of electrode materials for energy storage devices still remains a challenge. Herein, we synthesize nickel cobalt-based oxides nanoflower arrays assembled with nanowires grown on Ni foam via the hydrothermal process followed annealing process in air and argon atmospheres respectively. It is found that the annealing atmosphere has a vital influence on the oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of resulting NiCo_(2)O_(4) (NCO-Air) and CoNiO_(2) (NCO-Ar) products, which NCO-Ar has more oxygen vacancies and larger specific surface area of 163.48 m^(2)/g. The density functional theory calculation reveals that more oxygen vacancies can provide more electrons to adsorb –OH free anions resulting in superior electrochemical energy storage performance. Therefore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor of NCO-Ar//active carbon delivers an excellent energy density of 112.52 Wh/kg at a power density of 558.73 W/kg and the fabricated NCO-Ar//Zn battery presents the specific capacity of 180.20 mAh/g and energy density of 308.14 Wh/kg. The experimental measurement and theoretical calculation not only provide a facile strategy to construct flower-like mesoporous architectures with massive oxygen vacancies, but also demonstrate that NCO-Ar is an ideal electrode material for the next generation of energy storage devices. | Jiahui Ye Xingwu Zhai Long Chen Wen Guo Tiantian Gu Yulin Shi Juan Hou Fei Han Yi Liu Changchun Fan Gang Wang Shanglong Peng Xuhong Guo | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,11: | 2
The C_(6)D_(6)detector system on the Back-n beam line of CSNS显示文摘Introduction The neutron capture cross sections are very important in the field of nuclear device design and basic physics research.Hydrogen-free liquid scintillator such as C_(6)D_(6)detectors are widely used in the neutron capture cross-sectional measurements for the low neutron sensitivity and fast time response. The Back-n white neutron source at China Spallation Neutron Source is the first spallation white neutron source in China, and it is suitable for neutron capture cross-sectional measurement.Materials and methods A C_(6)D_(6)detector system was built in the Back-n experimental station. The pulse height weighting technique was used to determine the system’s detection efficiency. The response to gamma rays of the C_(6)D_(6)detector was measured, and the energy resolution function was determined.Monte Carlo simulation with Geant4 code was carried out to get the weighting function of this C_(6)D_(6)detector system.Additionally, the systematic uncertainty of the weighting function was also determined. Conclusion According to the experimental and simulation results, this C_(6)D_(6)detector system can be used to measure neutron capture cross section. | Jie Ren Xichao Ruan Jie Bao Guangyuan Luan Wei Jiang Qi An Huaiyong Bai Ping Cao Qiping Chen Yonghao Chen Pinjing Cheng Zengqi Cui Ruirui Fan Changqing Feng Minhao Gu Fengqin Guo Changcai Han Zijie Han Guozhu He Yongcheng He Yuefeng He Hanxiong Huang Weiling Huang Xiru Huang Xiaolu Ji Xuyang Ji Haoyu Jiang Hantao Jing Ling Kang Mingtao Kang Bo Li Lun Li Qiang Li Xiao Li Yang Li Yang Li Rong Liu Shubin Liu Xingyan Liu Yinglin Ma Changjun Ning Binbin Qi Zhaohui Song Hong Sun Xiaoyang Sun Zhijia Sun Zhixin Tan Hongqing Tang Jingyu Tang Pengcheng Wang Qi Wang Taofeng Wang Yanfeng Wang Zhaohui Wang Zheng Wang Jie Wen Zhongwei Wen Qingbiao Wu Xiaoguang Wu Xuan Wu Likun Xie Yiwei Yang Han Yi Li Yu Tao Yu Yongji Yu Guohui Zhang Jing Zhang Linhao Zhang Liying Zhang Qingmin Zhang Qiwei Zhang Xianpeng Zhang Yuliang Zhang Zhiyong Zhang Yingtan Zhao Liang Zhou Zuying Zhou Danyang Zhu Kejun Zhu Peng Zhu | 2019 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3: | 1

Inertial Proximal ADMM for Separable Multi-Block Convex Optimizations and Compressive Affine Phase Retrieval显示文摘Separable multi-block convex optimization problem appears in many mathematical and engineering fields. In the first part of this paper,we propose an inertial proximal ADMM to solve a linearly constrained separable multi-block convex optimization problem, and we show that the proposed inertial proximal ADMM has global convergence under mild assumptions on the regularization matrices.Affine phase retrieval arises in holography, data separation and phaseless sampling, and it is also considered as a nonhomogeneous version of phase retrieval, which has received considerable attention in recent years.Inspired by convex relaxation of vector sparsity and matrix rank in compressive sensing and by phase lifting in phase retrieval,in the second part of this paper,we introduce a compressive affine phase retrieval via lifting approach to connect affine phase retrieval with multi-block convex optimization, and then based on the proposed inertial proximal ADMM for 3-block convex optimization,we propose an algorithm to recover sparse real signals from their(noisy)affine quadratic measurements. Our numerical simulations show that the proposed algorithm has satisfactory performance for affine phase retrieval of sparse real signals. | Peng LI Wen Gu CHEN Qi Yu SUN | 2023 | Acta Mathematica Sinica,English Series2023,39,8: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 19 | Synthesis and One-dimensional Structure of Cobalt(Ⅱ) Complex [(NaOC_2H_5)CoL_2]_n显示文摘The treatment of bis(2-hydroxybenzyl)-amine(HL) with NaOH and Co(Ⅱ)(NO) 2 gives isostructural one-dimensional coordination polymers [(NaOC 2H 5)CoL 2] n (1). The cobalt ions have an octahedral geometry and are coordinated by two crystallographically independent ligands which are further linked by μ -O\-\{phenol\} bridged Co and Na atoms to give a one-dimentional structure. | LI Ling, GU Wen, YAN Shi-ping ** , CHENG Peng LIAO Dai-zheng, JIANG Zong-hui and SHEN Pan-wen Department of Chemistry, Nankai University, Tianjin 300071, P. | 20 | Cassava Me RS40 is required for the regulation of plant salt tolerance显示文摘Soil salinity affects the expression of serine/arginine-rich(SR) genes and isoforms by alternative splicing, which in turn regulates the adaptation of plants to stress. We previously identified the cassava spliceosomal component 35 like(SCL) and SR subfamilies, belonging to the SR protein family, which are extensively involved in responses to abiotic stresses. However, the post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism of cassava arginine/serine-rich(RS) subfamily in response to salt stress remains to be explored. In the current study, we identified 37 genes of the RS subfamily from 11 plant species and systematically investigated the transcript levels of the RS40 and RS31 genes under diverse abiotic stress conditions.Subsequently, an analysis of the conserved protein domains revealed that plant RS subfamily genes were likely to preserve their conserved molecular functions and played critical functional roles in responses to abiotic stresses.Importantly, we found that overexpression of MeRS40 in Arabidopsis enhanced salt tolerance by maintaining reactive oxygen species homeostasis and up-regulating the salt-responsive genes. However, overexpression of MeRS40 gene in cassava reduced salt tolerance due to the depression of its endogenous gene expression by negative autoregulation of its own pre-mRNA.Moreover, the MeRS40 protein interacted with MeU1-70Ks(MeU1-70Ka and MeU1-70Kb) in vivo and in vitro, respectively. Therefore, our findings highlight the critical role of cassava SR proteins in responses to salt stress in plants. | MA Xiao-wen MA Qiu-xiang MA Mu-qing CHEN Yan-hang GU Jin-bao LI Yang HU Qing LUO Qing-wen WEN Ming-fu ZHANG Peng LI Cong WANG Zhen-yu | 2023 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2023,22,5: | 0
