5Modeling and Robust Backstepping Sliding Mode Control with Adaptive RBFNN for a Novel Coaxial Eight-rotor UAV显示文摘This paper focuses on the robust attitude control of a novel coaxial eight-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) which has higher drive capability as well as greater robustness against disturbances than quad-rotor UAV. The dynamical and kinematical model for the coaxial eight-rotor UAV is developed, which has never been proposed before. A robust backstepping sliding mode controller(BSMC) with adaptive radial basis function neural network(RBFNN) is proposed to control the attitude of the eightrotor UAV in the presence of model uncertainties and external disturbances. The combinative method of backstepping control and sliding mode control has improved robustness and simplified design procedure benefiting from the advantages of both controllers. The adaptive RBFNN as the uncertainty observer can effectively estimate the lumped uncertainties without the knowledge of their bounds for the eight-rotor UAV. Additionally, the adaptive learning algorithm, which can learn the parameters of RBFNN online and compensate the approximation error, is derived using Lyapunov stability theorem. And then the uniformly ultimate stability of the eight-rotor system is proved. 7Underwater robot sensing technology:A survey显示文摘Underwater robot technologies are crucial for marine resource exploration and autonomous manipulation,and many breakthroughs have been achieved with key indicators(e.g.,dive depth and navigation range).However,due to the complicated underwater environment,the state-of-the-art sensing technologies cannot handle all the needs of underwater observations.To improve the autonomous operating capacity of underwater robots,there is an urgent need to develop underwater sensing technology.Therefore,in this paper,we first introduce the development of underwater robot platforms.We then review some key sensing technologies such as underwater acoustic sensing,underwater optical sensing,underwater magnetic sensing,and underwater bionic sensing.Finally,we point out the challenges of underwater sensing technology and future directions in addressing these challenges,e.g.,underwater bionic sensing,new underwater material development,multisource information fusion,and the construction of general test platforms.Yang Cong Changjun Gua Tao Zhang Yajun Gao 2021Fundamental Research2021,1,3:3
8A single mutation in the PBC loop of VP2 is involved in the in vitro replication of infectious bursal disease virus显示文摘To test whether amino acid mutations in the PBC and PHI loops of VP2 are involved in the replication and virulence of infectious bursal disease virus(IBDV), a pair of viruses, namely the moderately virulent IBDV(rG x-F9VP2) and the attenuated strain(rGt), were used. Residue mutations A222P(P_(BC)) and S330R(PHI), selected by sequence comparison, were introduced individually into r Gx-F9VP2 by using a reverse genetics system. In addition, the reverse mutation of either P222 A or R330 S was introduced into r Gt. The four modified viruses were then rescued and evaluated in vitro(CEF cells) and in vivo(SPF chickens). Results showed that A222 P elevated the replication efficiency of rG x-F9VP2 while P222 A reduced that of rG t in CEF cells. A mutation at residue 330 did not alter IBDV replication. In addition, animal experiments showed that a single mutation at either residue 222 or 330 did not significantly influence the virulence of IBDV. 9Optimal root system strategies for desert phreatophytic seedlings in the search for groundwater显示文摘Desert phreatophytes are greatly dependent on groundwater, but how their root systems adapt to different groundwater depths is poorly understood. In the present study, shoot and root growths of Alhagi sparsifolia Shap. seedlings were studied across a gradient of groundwater depths. Leaves, stems and roots of different orders were measured after 120 days of different groundwater treatments. Results indicated that the depth of soil wetting front and the vertical distribution of soil water contents were highly controlled by groundwater depths. The shoot growth and biomass of A. sparsifolia decreased, but the root growth and rooting depth increased under deeper groundwater conditions. The higher ratios of root biomass, root/shoot and root length/leaf area under deeper groundwater conditions implied that seedlings of A. sparsifolia economized carbon cost on their shoot growths. The roots of A. sparsifolia distributed evenly around the soil wetting fronts under deeper groundwater conditions. Root diameters and root lengths of all orders were correlated with soil water availabilities both within and among treatments. Seedlings of A. sparsifolia produced finer first- and second-order roots but larger third- and fourth-order roots in dry soils. 10Distribution patterns of plant communities and their associations with environmental soil factors on the eastern shore of Lake Taihu,China显示文摘Introduction:Plant communities and soil factors might interact with each other in different temporal and spatial scales,which can influence the patterns and processes of the wetland ecosystem.To get a better understanding of the distribution of plants in wetlands and analyze their associations with environmental soil factors,the structure and types of plant communities in the eastern shore area of Lake Taihu were analyzed by two-way indicator species analysis and canonical correspondence analysis(CCA)ordination.The spatial distribution patterns of vegetation and the main factors affecting the distributions were investigated.Outcomes:Sixty-six sampling sites were selected to obtain vegetation species and soil environmental factor data.Results showed that 22 species from the 66 sites could be divided into seven communities:I:Arundo donax;II:A.donax+Phragmites australis;III:Zizania latifolia+Typha orientalis;IV:P.australis+Alternanthera philoxeroides+Polygonum hydropiper;V:P.australis;VI:P.australis+Humulus scandens;and VII:Erigeron acer+Ipomoea batatas+Rumex acetosa.Plant species and soil factors in the CCA analysis showed that I.batatas,E.acer,Chenopodium album,Polygonum lapathifolium,and Acalypha australis were mainly affected by pH,whereas Echinochloa crus-galli,Setaria viridis,and H.scandens were mainly affected by soil total phosphorus.Mentha canadensis and A.donax were mainly affected by soil conductivity,A.philoxeroides was mainly affected by soil organic matter and,Z.latifolia,Metaplexis japonica and P.hydropiper were mainly affected by available phosphorus.Conclusion:These results indicated that different plants adapted to different soil environmental factors and provided basic information on the diversity of Lake Taihu wetland vegetation.Wei Li Lijuan Cui Baodi Sun Xinsheng Zhao Changjun Gao Yan Zhang Manyin Zhang Xu Pan Yinru Lei Wu Ma 2017Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2017,3,9:1

13Soil fauna diversity at different stages of reed restoration in a lakeshore wetland at Lake Taihu,China显示文摘Introduction:Wetland soil fauna support material cycling and restoration processes in wetland ecosystems.In our study,we observed variations in wetland soil fauna on the shores of Lake Taihu,China.We examined the relationships between fauna and major environmental factors,and looked at the short-and long-term changes in reed wetlands under restoration and in the natural reed lakeshore.Outcomes:We identified 93 groups of soil fauna in different wetlands and found significant differences in the lakeshore wetlands’soil fauna assemblages,depending on the length of the restoration period.By analyzing the soil fauna community evenness,dominance,number of taxa,and diversity,we found minimal seasonal variation in the soil fauna community diversity and abundance.The abundance of soil fauna in the sites under restoration decreased with depth below the soil surface.The reed restoration was obvious in the succession of the soil fauna groups in the long-term site.Although the restoration had an overall positive long-term effect on the soil fauna communities,there were no obvious short-term changes in the number of individuals.Conclusion:The study explored various potential measures to restore soil fauna in the Lake Taihu wetland and developed a theoretical basis for restoring the lakeshore wetland ecosystem.Wei Li Zhiguo Dou Lijuan Cui Xinsheng Zhao Manyin Zhang Yan Zhang Changjun Gao Zheng Yang Yinru Lei Xu Pan 2020Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1:1
14Constraining the lattice fluid dark energy from SNe Ia,BAO and OHD显示文摘Sanchez and Lacombe have developed a lattice fluid theory based on a well-defined statistical mechanical model.Taking the lattice fluid as a candidate of dark energy,we investigate the cosmic evolution of this fluid.Using the combined observational data of Type Ia Supernova(SNe Ia) Union2.1,Baryon Acoustic Oscillations(BAO) data from 6dFGS,SDSS and WiggleZ survey,and Observational Hubble Data(OHD),we find the best fit value of the parameters:A = 0.3 ± 0.2(1σ) ± 0.4(2σ) ± 0.8(3σ) and Ω m = 0.31 ± 0.02(1σ) ± 0.05(2σ) ± 0.07(3σ).The cosmological implications of the model are presented.DUAN XiaoXian LI YiChao GAO ChangJun 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,6:1

19Probable lumbar acute noncompressive nucleus pulposus extrusion: a case report of acute pain caused by a hydrated nucleus pulposus and review of the literature显示文摘Acute noncompressive nucleus pulposus(NP)extrusion has been widely described in veterinary medicine,especially in dogs and cats;however,caseshave rarely been reported in humans.We report a rare case of acute pain caused by a hydrated NP.Magnetic resonance imaging revealed an obvious hyperintense signal on T2-weighted images at the L5/S1 segments,while computed tomography imaging and radiography revealed amildly herniated discat the L4/5 level and slightlumbar spondylo listhesis at the L5/S1 segments.The operation was performed to confirm the presence of ared and swollen nerve root on the right side of the hydrated L5/S1 segment.The patient’s severe pain disappeared,and full recovery was achieved months after surgery.Thus,our case demonstrated a probable lumbar acute noncompressive NP extrusion in humans and reported associated symptoms and imaging characteristics.In such circumstances,surgical management is indicated and may be associated with a good outcome.Changjun Chen Xianlei Gao Hao Li Xin Pan Songgang Wang 2022Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2022,2,2:0

The IBD virus (IBDV), a nonenveloped virus belonging to the Birnaviridae family with a genome consisting of two segments of double-stranded RNA (segments A and B), targets B lymphocytes of bursa of Fabricious leading to immunosuppression.
